Another 1050 delivered to happy customers this week. This one is rather special. It was originally owned by a competition winner in the USA and has never been commercially operated, only ever privately owned. It still has original manufacturer stickers on the inside, something we never see these days. One of the finest examples of this jukebox there is 😁😁

The Wurlitzer 1050 seems to growing in popularity again. This one has been delivered to a very excited customer today, two more back in the workshop going through the final touches to be delivered to new homes soon!

A belated Christmas (or early New Year) present delivered this morning. The recipient of this Wurlitzer 2300 knew we were coming but had no idea what we were bringing. To say he’s happy is an understatement 😁😁😁

Another happy customer has taken delivery of this superb jukebox. His new house is still in the process of being built so it’s in place in the ‘almost finished’ kitchen 🤣🤣.
This is a wonderful example of an AMi Continental 2. The jukeboxes are becoming increasingly rare but we have a couple going through the restoration process. They’ll be ready in the next few months.

Another prestige jukebox we have for sale from 1957, The AMi H200E.
By the late 1950’s AMi decided the jukeboxes they were producing were ‘unglamorous’ went back to the drawing board for the ‘H’ series.
The new designs were based on the style of automobiles from that era, with a chrome 'bumper' and wrap-around windscreen. They also introduced neon lighting which made these jukeboxes the most desirable of the 1950s.
The AMi ‘H’ series are also among the best sounding machines with the dual cone speaker (one speaker with built in tweeter).
This particular machine has been totally refurbished. The mechanism has been stripped and completely rebuilt, while the button bank selection has been fitted with brand new parts (e.g. wipers).
It features the original valve amplifier (again, completely reconditioned) and speaker.

One of our prestige jukeboxes for sale. The AMi Continental 2 (c.1962)
The Continental II saw a different approach to jukebox design by AMi. Whereas previous jukeboxes were designed to replicate the style of 1950’s cars, with a front ‘windscreen’ and ‘bumper’, the Continental was released as the world was discovering space travel.
The dome front which houses the carousel and turntable was inspired by the ‘Sputnik’ space model and a wrap-around title strip holder hovers above the record changer. The cream cabinet and gold trim is complemented by a red interior. Its unique construction gives the jukebox a distinctive space-age design.
The Continental 2 features AMI’s original valve amplifier which produces a wonderful authentic tone. The carousel carries 50 45rpm singles, giving 100 selections.

We’ve been to the seaside... well almost! Just a small 3 hour trip to Skegness to pick up these beauties. An AMi Continental and Wurlitzer 1800. Both in good working order but they will now go into our workshop and go through a thorough restoration process. Watch this space, they will be a available to buy, fully restored, in the not too distant future. 😁😁

Fitting a new carousel motor to a Rock-Ola Tempo 2 is one of the most difficult jobs going. Due to its position it’s a two man job!!
