Ofgem's investigation into Direct Debit handling by the Energy companies has found that 6 companies have moderate to severe weaknesses in their processes. If these suppliers don’t take action fast enough, Ofgem will consider enforcement action. These suppliers are: Ecotricity, Good Energy, Green Energy UK, Utilita Energy, TruEnergy and UK Energy Incubator Hub (UKEIH). However UKEIH has subsequently ceased trading.
