Bee keeping with some beginners at the apiary this morning
Wow - 1st inspection- so much brood🐝🐝🐝. Its like late April rather than late March!
7/7 made it through. One is a bit sickly but on the whole pretty pleased 😀
Well, we have had a few mild days so far this spring when the bees were flying and bringing in pollen, but it’s still too cold to open up the bees to check how they are doing. Looking forward to the first day the temperature is above 15 degrees C, so we can check if the queen is laying again and the bees are healthy.
