A great wee workshop at Transition Stirling last night. Everyone learnt a new skill and went home with something they made π
To the ladies that attended my class today with transition Stirling and anyone else πHow to make a scrunchie 1st cut your cloth 25 inches long and 4 inches wide . 2nd fold your cloth with inside out and pin . 3rd Sew down the two edges remember your back stitch at the start and finish of your hem . 4rd You should have a tube shape now inside out. So now turn the tube right side out .. this can be a bit fiddly . 5th Thing cut your Elastic you need 10 inches. Thread through the elastic using safety pins . At one the end of your tube Attach one of the safety pins with your elastic pinned to . Use the other end of the the elastic with the safety pin attached thread through your tube . 6th Thing is tie your elastic into a knot ποΈand tuck the knot inside your tube away from your hem line that you still have to sew. Then sew the two ends together. And hopefully you have a scrunchie π
