Before you walk into the gym SWITCH ON!
You are there regardless, you are there to do a job, you are there to make progress so SET A PLAN go in and execute it!!! Leave NOTHING in the tank, train to the point of failure and walk out of the gym like you've just gone 12 rounds in the ring!
Do this and I guarantee you EVERYTHING else will fall into place!!
MINDSET!!

Haven’t posted in a while, mainly due to time but also because fb keeps warning me of “inappropriate posts” going against community standards 🤷♀️ based on what I see being allowed on social media I really don’t see how I fit into that category!
Four shows, four weeks and a mix of judging.
“Not lean enough” 2nd place 🥈
“Too big for this category” moved me and auto 1st place 🥇
“Not the right shape or lean enough” no placing 🙄
“Excellent overall look showing fantastic upper condition and shape” 🥇 in all 3 categories and a WFF Pro win.
Now back to building for 6months, see if that’s enough time to improve before beginning another prep to compete in France June 2025.
I know I need to continue to work on adding muscle (mainly to my lower body)in order to bring a sharper look and better X frame but overall for the diet that turned into a prep I’m just happy I’ve improved since 2021.
Gym = great for the body, great for the mind 💥

We fail when we fail to try and life is too short to spend every day at war with yourself.
Anything is possible if you have the mindset, the will and desire to do it and put the time in.
Stop making excuses.

When I feel like quitting I remember why I started.
Lately it feels like there’s always a barrier to where I want to be, ultimately I’ve improved and that’s a take home win I need to keep reminding myself of.
Been a while since I did an update on my plans and physique.
I maintained weight for about 2 months after initially dropping 18lbs (163.4lbs - 145lbs), I’m now dieting and hoping to pull off another 15lbs to get a good look at what’s under the fluff.
I had planned on competing this year after a long 2 year off season but my head isn’t in the right place and I don’t feel I’ve grown enough to be competitive now I would be competing against seasoned athletes/a younger generation.
To be successful in prep and on stage you have to be mentally strong as well as in a good position physically so we’re just going to run this diet, stay healthy in mind and body and go back to enjoying training and life in general.
The phrase “you’ve got to be comfortable being uncomfortable” has been banished.

No matter what you’re doing someone else is working harder, use that as motivation to work harder yourself 🎯

Tips to help over the festive period:
🎄 enjoy the day! Eat, drink and relax just don’t be a pig.
🎄 get some fluid in that doesn’t contain alcohol.
🎄 go for a walk after your big dinner, it’ll help it digest.
🎄 get back on plan the next day.
🎄 don’t panic/feel guilty over one day of relaxing your new healthy habits, a break will do you good - just don’t let one day spread over the entire week, that WILL slow you down.
