It's April Fools day!

We love a prank in the office, especially when it's an IT related one.

Personal favourite is the "dead mouse" prank, which is so easy to do because on the bottom of most modern-day mice, you'll find a laser that detects movement. All you need to do is grab a sticky note or piece of tape and cover up the laser on your coworker's mouse.

This will drive the victim crazy!!!

Meet Michael Kirwan

The man with a plan.

Our operational director is the technically gifted, team orientated genius with un-matched IT knowledge.

With over 17 years experience working in IT, he knows how to keep the cogs turning and the team working to a high standard.

There’s no slacking when working under this man.

Michael is normally seen either with the team talking through strategy and planning bigger and better for our clients, or he’s working on issues and fixes that even the most technical engineers dream of doing.

The work this man does behind the scenes is absolutely mind-blowing.

When he’s not in the office or working from home, he’s either spending time with his family or playing football.

Michael is a loyal supporter of Manchester United FC and Wigan Warriors rugby league club, which is a shame really, as he’s a nice guy otherwise.

Meet Amjad Shakeel

The Top Dog, The Big Cheese, The Main Man.

Our director is amongst many things, but terrifying is not one of them, as he’s a lovely guy with time for anyone and anything.

With over 30 years experience working in IT, he absolutely knows exactly what he’s talking about and uses his hard-earned knowledge to whoever it may benefit.

Amjad is normally seen either with his team in the office keeping us all in check, planning new projects and teaching us all something new. Or he’s out with clients talking about electric cars and being a top triathlete.

When it comes to fitness, no one compares to Amjad. This man would class a 50-mile bike ride as “light work.” What a machine!

Amjad has built Comms-Byte from the ground up and everyone who’s spoken to him knows how much he values the company and his team.

Meet Michael Haigh

The most chilled-out IT Support Engineer known to man. Nothing phases our Mike.

Mike is our in-house comedian, he never fails to make you laugh.

If you’re already a client of Comms-Byte, you’ll have most likely spoken to Mike over the phone and you’ll know what he’s like. He leaves our customers smiling and laughing after every interaction, he loves to keep everyone happy. Mike absolutely loves talking to our clients and will get along with everyone that crosses his path.

Due to working in IT for over 6 years, Mike has built up a catalogue of tech skills and knowledge that he’ll unload onto any issue that comes his way. With his already profound knowledge in the game, he’ll get your issue sorted and will make sure you’re 100% happy before the conversation is over.

Mike is a loyal supporter of Liverpool FC and if it’s not football, it’s rugby (St Helens RFC).

Amjad is always creating ways of developing and improving our clients' IT systems and infrastructure.

Our engineers are always hungry to learn and of course, assist the growth of our clients' IT systems.

Meet Nick Dec.

You will 100% know if you’ve spoken to our Nick because you’ll recognise his friendly, outgoing nature, not to mention his booming voice.

With a thirst for customer satisfaction, Nick will stop at nothing to ensure your IT issues are resolved all the while you are left with a smile on your face.

With over 10 years experience working in IT, Nick has more or less seen it all and if he hasn’t seen it, you will have full confidence that he’ll figure it out because this man does not quit!

One way to describe Nick is as a family man, when he’s not at work, he’s spending his time playing football with his kids and going on all sorts of fun adventures.

Nick enjoys watching football with his son and there’s only one team for them… Chelsea.

I suppose there’s room for improvement in everyone.
