Holistic Treatments at The Snug
Holistic Therapy
It is with sadness that I inform you all of my decision to close Holistic Treatments at The Snug, for the foreseeable future. It has not been an easy decision but as my priorities move, I know that in the immediate future I will not be able to offer the attention The Snug and it’s wonderful clients deserve. Thank you all for the support throughput these past years ❤️. Until our “soles” meet again 👣
Hello Autumn
R.I.P. ❤️
It’s “black cat appreciation day”today. Meet Bumble (Mr B to his friends), we really appreciate him here at The Snug.
Did you know that a cat can lower stress and anxiety. Cat owners know how one session of petting or playing with their cat can turn a bad day into a good one.
Improve your cardiovascular health. Cat owners have been reported to carry a lower risk for heart disease and stroke.
Reduce feelings of loneliness.

Hello July….
Just one step at a time 😁
In 1997, the Queen received a hand reflexology treatment from reflexologist Claire Brown. Perhaps regular reflexology treatments are the Queens secret to her longevity?? Happy Jubilee weekend.

Here’s to a busy month of celebrations, and trips out, bring on the sunshine 🌞
To all you men, women, all wonderful people out there as we draw to the end of words by
TO THE WOMAN WHO IS SLOWLY FADING AWAY...
To the woman who has lost her spark.
To the woman whose get up and go, has well and truly gone.
This is for you.
This is to remind you whose daughter you are.
This is to remind you, that you don’t have to be everything to everyone, every day.
You didn’t sign up for that.
Remember when you used to laugh? Sing? Throw caution to the wind?
Remember when you used to forgive yourself more quickly for not always being perfect.
You can get that back again.
You really can.
And that doesn’t have to mean letting people down or walking away.
It just means being kinder to you, feeling brave enough to say no sometimes.
Being brave enough to stop sometimes.
And rest.
It starts the moment you realise that you’re not quite who you used to be. Some of that is good, some of that is not.
There are parts of you that need to be brought back.
And if anyone in your life is not okay with that... they are not your people. Your people will be glad to see that spark starting to light up again.
So, if you have been slowly fading away my friend, this is the time to start saying yes to things that bring you joy and no to things that don’t.
It’s really pretty simple.

Tomorrow marks the start of Mental Health Awareness Week hosted by Mental Health Foundation UK. This year’s theme is to raise awareness of the impact of loneliness on our mental wellbeing and the steps we can take to address it.
“Loneliness is affecting more and more of us in the UK and has had a huge impact on our physical and mental health during the pandemic.”
“Our connection to other people and our community is fundamental to protecting our mental health and we need to find better ways of tackling the epidemic of loneliness. We can all play a part in this. “
It’s National Gardening Week 2022. Run by the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) to “raise awareness of gardening and horticulture, and to encourage more people to take part in the healthy and productive outdoor activity of gardening.”
I have to say I love my garden and find it a place for thought and contemplation. An oasis in such a busy world.
Hello May
Isn’t this amazing 👣💜👣
Happy Easter from The Snug
It’s World Sleep Day today, 18th March.
According to the International Council of Reflexologists, ICR, scientific studies have shown a direct benefit for sleep from reflexology, which can elevate sleep quality, reduce fatigue, and improve the symptoms of insomnia. A 2012 review of 40 studies of reflexology, acupressure and sleep found that using these therapies led to significant improvements to insomnia when combined with sleep hygiene practices, such as keeping a regular bedtime, eating well and exercising, avoiding excessive light exposure, and maintaining a quiet, dark, relaxing sleeping space free of electronics.
Personally, as a Reflexologist I don't need scientific studies to know that Reflexology can be supportive of better sleep, returning clients say so 😴. Why not see the benefits for yourself 👣💜👣
Exciting developments at The Snug. Still a little more work to do …. So excited to welcome you soon 👣💜👣

Time is so precious. It can mean so much
to a person when they receive even a
small amount of your time.
Who would you like to spend time with
today?
It’s been a tough start to 2022 with the passing of my sister, but on a happier note I wanted to share with you the ongoing developments here at The Snug.
Last year saw a new entrance and beautiful clients toilet facilities. Now we are joining this space to the entrance of the treatment room. How great will this be!!
So, when completed and my mind is a little more focused I can’t wait to welcome you all to The Snug.
Watch this space for further updates 🤩
