I have made the difficult decision to pause trading.
For those that are unaware we are awaiting IVF and at the moment I’m struggling to balance my full time job, cake orders and taking time to ensure my mental health is at its best. I need and want to be at my healthiest to give me the best possible chance and to get back to the gym but I currently don’t have time to do this working two jobs. I’m gutted it’s come to this, I’m turning orders away from being so busy with the little time I have..I’ve been trying to work out something for months….taking on a shop and employees etc, I’ve looked daily at buildings to rent, etc but funding for this could jeopardise any financial support we may need if we have to pay for fertility treatment privately. Giving up my full time job was also an option, but I want stability for when I do have a family and it just wasn’t the right time in my own opinion.It’s not a goodbye, it’s a see you soon, hopefully with two more little hands that will grow up to bake like their mummy!
