The children and I had a wonderful time putting the Christmas decorations up today. After leaving Qatar almost a year ago, after having spent 6 wonderful years there we were all looking forward to finally spending Christmas in our own home! It felt even more special this year and has left me feeling very thankful for how everything has turned out 🥰 🎄❤️

It’s been a while since I posted on here, but these last few months have been a bit of a whirlwind! After relocating back to the UK, and finally feeling settled again, we just received news that we will be moving into our new home on the 27th May 🥳🥂🥰
I thought i should celebrate by making the first tart I made for “Bake-Well” The super delicious Creme Patissiere Strawberry Tart…..keep doing what makes you happy people 🥰

Raspberry Heaven: I just love the tartness that these raspberries bring, they provide a perfect balance against the sweet creme Patissiere and buttery, crumbly pastry.
The family were very pleased when I told them this one was staying home 😘

The temperature is rising here in but when you fancy something indulgent why not provide those tastebuds with something refreshing at the same time! Zesty, zingy, sweet lemon curd on top of a buttery, biscuit base! 😋

Another day, another mini Bakewell order.....I do love making these little pastries!

Which one would you choose? I have to admit, I’m a little disappointed I don’t get to keep one of these today 😋
Savoury at its best, Turkey bacon, onion and vintage cheddar cheese quiche, followed by a classic Bakewell or decadent semi-sweet chocolate tart. The only dilemma here is having a choice 🙈

These little Bakewells use up all of my patience. But they are worth it! 😋

It all starts with a simple ingredient.....But finishes with the most refreshing sweet zing against a crisp, crumbly, flaky pastry.

The smell of this particular quiche has to be my favourite, it smells divine!
I’m a little disappointed I have to box it up and hand it over 😉

The Mediterranean vegetable quiche is proving very popular 😋

Another order complete today, Turkey Bacon, Broccoli and vintage Cheddar Cheese.
I whipped the egg whites for this one, it makes a slightly darker top but a fluffier inside 😋
