We have a vacancy for a Male Sexual Violence Counsellor based in our Counselling for Adult Survivors of Sexual Violence and Abuse (CASSVA) Service in Sunderland.
Salary: £33,196 (pro rata).
Contract type: Permanent subject to the successful completion of a six-month probationary period.
Hours: Part-time – 15 hours per week excluding breaks. The working hours for this post will be 11.30am – 7.30pm on either Monday, Tuesday and / or Thursday.

The Letter That Took Decades To Write - MSP - The Male Survivors Partnership Male Survivors Partnership together with RocketMill and filmmaker, Boise Vincent, have released a new film exploring the issue of sexual violence against boys and men, called ‘The letter it took decades to write’.
Sunderland Counselling Service is part of an integrated CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service) team offering support to children and young people aged 5 to 18, who are experiencing difficulties with their mental health throughout the Sunderland area.
The 1st February 2024 is Time to Talk Day, an awareness day that encourages individuals and organisations to have open conversations about mental health and wellbeing.
Counsellor - Cancer Care Service Vacancy at Sunderland Counselling Service Hours: 37 hours per week (full-time equivalent) including a minimum of one evening per week. Part-time hours will also be considered.
