We're thrilled to kick off the seventh year of our Winter Warmers campaign, dedicated to keeping our older customers safe and connected throughout the winter months.

This includes phoning all customers over 80 to check-in on their wellbeing and offer support, sending them a festive gift pack, and testing heating and hot water systems.

A big thank you to our solicitors Devonshires Solicitors for sponsoring the campaign and match-funding our contribution, and to our gas compliance partners Smith and Byford Ltd for helping us carry out MOTs on the homes of customers over 90.

Together, we're making a difference and spreading warmth to those who need it most. 🏡⛄

This past Sunday, we were filled with pride as Pete, Stuart and Claire (pictured below) laced up their running shoes for the annual Santa Dash, in support of St. Raphael's Hospice 🎄🏅

They showcased incredible teamwork, spreading joy and cheer as they ran 5k through Nonsuch Park, dressed in Santa outfits 🎅. A big shout out to our fantastic team for their enthusiasm, generosity and dedication to making a positive impact. Their efforts and commitment are truly commendable 👏.

The funds raised will help contribute to the incredible work done by St Raphael's Hospice. We're proud to stand alongside them in their mission to make a difference in the lives of those in need ❤️.

Today we are holding a cake sale (arranged by our Finance Administrator, Stacey) to support a very meaningful cause - Rio's cancer treatment.

Rio is a brave 2-year-old fighting against stage 4 high risk neuroblastoma – a rare and aggressive form of childhood cancer. Rio’s parents are currently fundraising for lifesaving treatment (not available on the NHS) which costs hundreds of thousands of pounds. You can read Rio's full story here:

At Smith and Byford, we value TUPE as an important tool to ensure the smooth running of contract delivery. In total, we successfully transferred 5 members of staff, including 1 Apprentice, 3 Engineers and 1 Field Trainer. The team have spent this past week undertaking training and inductions, before they begin working on our new Gas Servicing contract with Waverley Borough Council 🧰🛠
