It was a pleasure to join local superstars Bob and Sarah at a charity event at the Greek Vine in Wallington recently to raise money for their Christmas Toy Appeal.

Every year, these amazing people raise money to buy toys for disadvantaged children, including the children of women fleeing domestic violence and children hospices.

Thanks to everyone who braved the elements last night and came along and helped make Soup #24 another wonderful evening. We heard four excellent pitches but in the end it was the Rww plumbing and heating ltd Foundation providing Christmas presents to children who otherwise would have nothing who won the vote.
Our thanks too to everyone who helped on the evening and made everything run so smoothly.

Every year Bob Watson aka Bob the Plumber from Rww plumbing and heating ltd raises thousands of £££ to provide gifts for children via Home-Start Sutton and other local charities.

This is just a small selection of the thoughtfully chosen gifts and toys that arrived at Home-Start yesterday, all ready to be given to Home-Start families.

With the cost-of-living crisis hitting families hard this year, we couldn't be more grateful to Bob and his team for their generosity and hard work to bring a bit of extra festive joy to local children. Thank you Bob, you absolute star! ⭐

CHRISTMAS TOY APPEAL: Jennie Watson - Personal Travel Consultant from the old Village Travel has let us know about the Toy Appeal they helped run every year. It's on again and Rww plumbing and heating ltd are collecting toys to provide local underprivileged children, children in hospital or children in one of the amazing hospices in our area with a toy on Christmas morning.
