Not the best photo in the world but a lovely way to capture a special Birthday. This was a requested by a Customer to mark the 50th Birthday for both Elin and Jason, Est. 1974 on the base.

Something different today. I had forgotten how tricky it is to place flowers in an orb and keep them steady to complete the resin fill… it’s all over me mun 🤦♀️😂. I hope they settle into position with the weight. Let’s wait and see what happens 🤞🤞

I finally bit the bullet and finished cold working and finishing of three last few decoupaged pendants and the last Sunset pendant, and made a couple of Autumn coloured floral hearts. I will be making more of the pendants in the weeks ahead but today’s task is getting ready for my Show and Tell outside of Craftastic in St Elli Centre, Llanelli on Saturday. If you are local and out and about, pop in and say Hi, there is also a Vintage Fayre going on there which promises lots to see and do, so come along and have a bit of fun 😁

Got to love a bit of colour 😍

All set up here at the Summer Fete, if you are at a loss for things to do and want something to do with little ones pop up , there is lots going on 😁
I will be here with my craft and other talented crafters this coming Sunday, Come along and see what’s going on. I am sure there will be lots 😃😃

Closing the Kiln. Phew what a day! I have cut 16 pieces of glass, 114 petals, decorated them with enamel frit and Murrini. Now it’s to programme, and hope the kiln fairies don’t come back from their bender and cause chaos! Fingers crossed for a successful opening in the morning👍🤞🤞🤞
TASK - OPERATION MISCHIEF (keeping her out of trouble)😉
Where do I start! With the to do & materials list I think 😉.
Looking forward to learning another element to glass casting over the next few weeks which suppliments my existing learning, then putting it into practice. Then I am on a mission to ‘up the game’ with everything I have learnt so far in this craft and to go back through and refresh the old grey matter on the lockdown learning and create more pieces from that. I have a few jobs which are outstanding for my own property in the form of making side panels for a door frame and a vanity basin, then I get to start planning for a small part in a renovation project and then create a space filler for an old serving hatch…
But first a visit to a place I have been looking forward to go since I started my glass journey in 2010, can my bank balance take it I ask myself🤦♀️🥰😂

I enjoy creating something new from old. These textured coasters started life as old wooden glass fronted cabinets. Simple to achieve with delicate butterflies and a new lease of life 💖

This is a collaboration between hubby and myself. The aim was to make an Oak & Glass Heart Guestbook for Kim and Richard that could eventually be hung as a centrepiece somewhere in their home. There is still a little work to do on it to seal it once all messages are in place, but here is a picture of it at the venue. 2 sheets of float Glass used for the heart with the instructions board also made of glass sublimated by me…

As modelled by the beautiful Bride, Etched glasses for the Bridal party. The wording disappears when washed but re-appears when Dry. Just like magic ✨🪄

Two pieces of glass, both hand cut without much wastage(proud of myself😂). Reinforced around the outside to give more support. A Pet Memorial for a beloved fur baby.

I recently had the pleasure of repairing a beautiful Tiffany Style Lamp that had been part of an inheritance from beloved Grandparents. Damaged through transit/storage, It took a bit of time to work out the jigsaw, remove and make good quite a few of the pieces but it all came together nicely in the end to make a much sturdier crown to support the overall weight of the glass. The final photo is of the lamp now back at home and all lit up looking absolutely glorious. Thank you Kathy Hooper-Ranson for trusting me with your treasure and for the opportunity to repair.
If you know of anyone who is looking for a Lamp repair, please do not hesitate to give me a call or pop me a message. I will be more than happy to see what needs to be done x
