Dear Customers,
Itโs been a long road to the end of the tunnel to get through the pandemic safely. Although we are not there yet however, we are seeing the light at the end which means hopefully we can open our restaurant safely soon and enjoy normal socialising with great meals and drinks.
During this locked down period, we decided to reach out to Swindon community and take part to help wherever possible with our hospitality services.
Over the Christmas time, 25th Dec 2020, we served 50 packs of Dal, Bhat and Tarkaari (lentils, rice and curry) for the homeless at around Culvery Court - Sanctuary Supported Living.
On 30th January and 6th February 2021, we worked with Nepali Association Wiltshire (NAW) and provided around 40 lunches at Great Western Hospital, Swindon.
On 13th and 27th February 2021, we served another 40 lunches at Police headquarter, Swindon.
Although, we have been impacted by the pandemic not being able to open as normal however, we decided to be open to the homeless, our community police and great Great Western Hospital staffs to provide a bit of support at these difficult times. Only through mutual support, we can get through til the end of the tunnel.
We would like to thank our Yak the Himalayan Kitchen team, Nepali Association Wiltshire (NAW) and everyone who volunteered to go extra mile to deliver such successful events.
