🎉 The countdown to our 1st Birthday has begun, and we’re kicking it off with exciting member challenges over the next few weeks!
These challenges are not just about winning prizes (though there are some great ones up for grabs!)—they’re also the perfect opportunity to get back into a routine now that the summer holidays are winding down.
We get it—summer can be chaotic. With routines thrown out the window, self-care often takes a back seat, and health and fitness goals can feel out of reach. But as the season draws to a close (finally, right?), it’s time to take a deep breath and reclaim your routine.

And our Alice is off on her mega cycle from Lands End to John O Groats 😲🚲
Alice set off on Saturday & will complete the distance on 28th July accompanied by her sister & uncle.

Saturday was a bloomin’ ball!
Fantastic turn out, thank you members (& friends) for supporting us & showing up to these events.
It’s the first time since we did a complete overhaul of the gym layout that we’ve had 40 people in the gym at once 😅 when you’re used to half of that it feels like a hell of a lot but the energy was fantastic.

We’ve made prioritising yourself & your health as easy & accessible as possible by doing the following:
⌚️Opening 6am - 8pm Monday - Friday / 7am - 1pm Saturdays
🤸🏼♀️Sessions are on the hour EVERY hour!(That’s a lot of options)
💪🏼 Our classes & PT sessions last for 50 minutes
🚙 We have our own private car park to make nipping in super quick
⚡️There is ALWAYS a coach in the building to take you through a workout, every single hour we’re open

Bring your friends, family members, colleagues or whoever you would love to share our gym and wonderful community with! And, if you don’t have anyone to bring along that’s fine too, just come along as usual anyway!

We’ve learnt that one of the main problems with getting started with a fitness routine is not knowing what to do in the gym.
You feel so overwhelmed by all the bits of kit that you’ve no idea how to use, you end up spending 10 minutes on the treadmill & going back home again!
Not exactly the most motivating or rewarding gym visit is it?!
So there’s no wonder you can’t make it stick & end up quitting the gym altogether.

We took the lads out for a staff social at the weekend, consisting of some good food & a bit of competitive spirit!
It’s been a busy start to the year & although we’re in the gym together a fair bit, the days go so fast we don’t actually get chance to hang out, so it was well overdue.
Would highly recommend an arcade games bar for some fun & a lot of nostalgia…dance machine tournament anyone?!

The number one thing you can do to stay on track over Christmas has nothing to do with what you eat!
We’re not here to tell you what to eat or what not to eat over the festive period, socialising often includes eating & drinking out so enjoy it whatever that looks like for you.
But the one thing we would recommend you do over the next 2 weeks so that it doesn’t feel like you’re climbing out of a hole come 1st January is to…
.stay active.
Keep going to the gym.
Keep getting out for walks.
The festive period hits the hardest when you’ve sat on the sofa for 2 weeks with the mindset ‘Well I’m not eating 100% so what’s the point’
The point is it will keep you ticking over & will likely result in you keeping a more level head around what you eat during this period too.
We all know that movement often creates a positive thought cycle:
> You’re feeling good after a workout
> You want to eat well to maintain that feeling
> You sleep better from movement & nourishing food
> repeat
Once the movement goes, everything else often goes with it.
So, enjoy these next few weeks, it’s what they’re there for after all. Try & stay active even if it’s less than what it would be normally, something is better than nothing.
