British food fortnight! Working with our brilliant catering staff at MPH, to celebrate, and getting the patients involved on Portman, AFU, Wordsworth, Eliot and Triscombe

For Merchant Navy day, we joined forces with the Defence Medical Welfare Service, Jo and Emma based here at Musgrove.
We entertained our patients, on the care of the elderly wards, Triscombe, Eliot and Wordsworth, with various games, and a selection of food, themed around the ships ⛵️ and the sea.🌊Enhancing patients experience while in hospital.

Anyone for tennis 🎾 To celebrate the start of Wimbledon, patients designed tennis racquets, to go with a helping of strawberries and cream, provided by our brilliant kitchen department, with non alcoholic Pimms and beer 🍓🍓

Glastonbury comes to Triscombe, our patients enjoyed flower arranging with a welly boot theme 💐🎸🌸🪕🌼🎵

Jubilee Celebrations today on Triscombe, amazing staff made cakes for our patients morning tea, followed by a fantastic buffet lunch by our fabulous catering department enjoyed by all, and just for fun, A Right Royal quiz 🇬🇧👑🇬🇧👑

And the Jubilee celebrations have begun on Triscombe 👑🇬🇧🎉 We were lucky to have a visitor helping out with the cream teas, which were freshly made by our lovely catering department. Patients also enjoyed a game of Royal bingo, with prizes for all.

Bringing our own little bit of chelsea flower show to the ward, patients arranging flowers, enjoying the colours, textures and different smells. A big thank you to Sainsbury's Bridgwater for all the bulbs, which we gave to our patients 🌹🌺🌸💐🌼🌷⚘️🌿🌱
