Escalating quickly… 😳😳
It was only a week ago I posted an update and already my little mate has doubled in size.
As women, I am absolutely in awe of what bodies can do during pregnancy, the shifting and changing. I am also in awe of what Yoga can do to help this journey. My body definitely feels different second time round, I am not practicing so much, running round after a toddler and there is a lot more ‘doing’ than I would wish for. So bones are achy, muscles are a bit tighter, and my gawwwddd the coccyx pain is real! The difference is very noticeable.
But the bod keeps going and keeps growing and every day seems very different. I just need to practice what I preach a little bit more and keep moving and keep strong.
Message to a Yoga Teacher from a Yoga Teacher: Do more of The Yoga, Move the body, you have a little way yet.

✨T A K I N G A L I T T L E B R E A K ✨
Soooooo Mon Cheri’s!! I am officially taking a little break. Most of you know I am starting Maternity leave (from Teaching Yoga) and right now, I am not entirely sure when I will be back to it.
Me and the Fam, have quite a few other commitments and plates spinning, and to be honest, I am looking forward to just being pregnant, savouring the time we have left as a three and also getting reconnected to my own personal Yoga practice- One that is purely selfish, purely devotional and purely for me- to reconnect with the true essence of Yoga. Which, believe it or not, can sometimes get lost when teaching, running a business & juggling all the plates- Yes, I fully admit it, ALL Yogis have to work really hard to practice what they preach.
Likely hood is there will be a bit less Yoga Posting, a little bit more Life posting or potentially there might be a little less posting at all 😂
I am actually really looking forward to a little change & only having to show up for me and the Family and therefore putting the most important things first. There’s sooo much change happening, internally and externally, that it feels really good to take a step back and observe for a little while. So I will be here, taking a moment and taking a big & beautiful DEEP breath ❤️
Those of you that know me, will know that I do like a plan and always have something in my sights or up my sleeve, so you’ll have to watch this space to see what happens next Yogawise… 😜
But for right now, I am just going to be over here LIVING, no pressures and no expectations.

Sadly, another 10 Years post… this time for Papa T 🫶
I remember thinking ‘I can’t wait for 10 years time, so I can say ‘it happened 10 years go’, not a few months ago, not last year, not a couple of years. All to save other people feeling awkward. Awkward about Death. We shouldn’t feel awkward about death, it’s a part of life and I am here for it. Happy to talk about it. Openly. There is nothing that teaches you gratitude and acceptance like grief and there is nothing more moving, loving, spiritual or raw. Life’s biggest lessons and teachers, are birth and death. Both are the most natural experiences we can go through and inevitable.
Whatever you might be grieving, whatever your bereavement, don’t let anyone tell you ‘how’ you ‘should’ grieve. It is your own experience and you will handle and honour it, the only way you can. Everyone will have their expectations, but that is truly theirs, don’t let it affect your journey.
I remember at the time, just feeling constantly judged. Now 10 years later… I feel experienced, I feel grateful, and I feel like I grieved truly, honestly and in the only way I knew how.
I still feel very connected. I don’t feel the bond has gone. It’s just different now.
You, my dad, were the truest of all inspirations. I have never and will never be angry at your decision. Only proud.

This feeling seems to keep coming up and back for me at the moment, I even think that looks a little like me 😂
Just gotta remember that very few things in life are permanent, they are just decisions, they are decisions that you can change, take back, pivot and re-pivot again (in the words of Luisa Skinner). So maybe it’s just time to lean into it, be brave, take the risk….

I was thinking lately about the ‘wellness industry’ and how (I totally speak for myself here), how it seems to have totally 360’d in the aim and the intention. When you become a Yoga teacher, it’s like you are taking a vow of service to others, don’t get me wrong there are boundaries and there is massively a part of you that can over give, but the reason we do what we do, is because our pure love of Yoga and it’s magic and the love of helping others. It really feels like the essence of this has been a bit lost. It seems like there’s very few people that just want to help others these days… it’s more about how much money ‘it’ can earn, what ‘it’ looks like, it even seems to give people a sense of superiority for some reason.
I would like to sit here and declare…
I am humble, I am human just like everyone else & I am of service in my vocation.
I don’t do this for money (however I do have to earn a living), I don’t worry about IG too much & I don’t know everything and don’t try to.
I am just a regular old human. Just doing the doooooo…
& doing what I think, at that moment, is best… 🫶
**Not sure what made me want to write this! I guess it also puts me in ‘that’ category that makes my teeth feel funny, but hey 😂😂**

Soooooo I am getting blinking excited!! The retreat is filling up with the MOST WONDERFUL PEOPLE!! 🫶 and I already feel sooooo unbelievably excited and grateful.
