Commission completed and off to Buckinghamshire shortly. Mid-century 60’s Lebus Link, painted in Chestler ~ a deep & dreamy blue-green, silver sprayed drawer pulls with base and feet stained in walnut.

Commission completed and off on their way to Middlesex this week. Customer wanted the red tone removed so these beautiful vintage 1950’s leggy Harris Lebus asymmetrical pair have been re-stained in golden pine. The grain and knots are entirely faux and have been created using a special technique that I’ve developed and used for a few pieces now 😍.

It has been an incredibly busy week finalising orders and sending out care packages and colour samples since returning from a wonderful break. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting some really lovely new customers in person recently 😊.

Available now. Original vintage 60’s mid century Liden pair of drawers. Each has 4 spacious drawers. They look great side-by-side creating a larger chest / sideboard or equally exquisite as 2 larger bedsides.

Painted in a blend of Fusion Mineral paints to create a dusty pink and finished in a satin finish varnish, with drawer fronts stained in a walnut finishing oil to complement the vibe of their era. Drawers have been lined with my favourite vintage jungle paper.

Today marks the day I become mum to a teen! A beautiful, kind and all round brilliant human 🥰. Behind the scenes she’s my second pair of hands, and eyes. Working on a few commissions over the next few weeks then downing the paint brush to spend some quality time with this girl to tour some of the UK.

Any fellow Ercol fanatics here? I’ve acquired a second one of these beautiful solid elm golden dawn coloured Pandora coffee tables. I’ve had mine with me for around 10 years now and just love and would never sell her but definitely no space for another and I’m not painting this beauty!

In great condition, though a few things to highlight - top drawer handle part broken (replacements available for £15). A small bump to the edge of the drawer (no wood flaking) and a few scratches as per photos which are only noticeable up close. Looking for a quick sale due to lack of space and considering handle and scratches, offering it below market value.

Where my child free time goes … working on not one but 3 projects simultaneously 🙈. I often get asked how I do it?! My answer is simple really, after speaking to people on the phone in my 9-5 all week, this IS one of my downtime pastimes. I don’t see it as work, but rather peaceful time in the sun (long may it continue ☀️) being creative which brings me so much contentment. I just love those weekends spent ‘pottering’ but ending up with beautiful finished pieces given a new lease of life come a Sunday evening.

The retro drawers (which were quite literal barn saves) are available to purchase also, however they won’t be available to go for a few weeks until the stain cures. These have been painted in a dusky pink with walnut stain added to drawer fronts for a mid century feel. They look great side by side as a larger chest or even a sideboard, or separate as larger bedsides. My perfectionism hasn’t allowed for full staging and photos until the stain is dry!

I’ve also been working on a Stag Minstrel tallboy commission for a customer which is being painted in a stunning grey and copper combination.

Stag Minstrel leggy dressing / console table. Painted in a bespoke blend of colours from the Fusion Mineral range to create this gorgeous light eucalyptus green shade with blue undertones and finished with a flat, yet silky finish varnish to protect. The base and legs have been stained to create a lovely rustic oak effect. Drawers have been nourished with the divine scented orange grove furniture butter.

You choose the drawer pulls you would like.

Stool can be sourced and finished to match should you wish. I also have pairs of tea tray and 4 drawer bedsides which can be commissioned to match.

Super rare as hens teeth Stag Minstrel tall slim vanity / dressing 6 drawer chest of drawers - various names! (5 drawers + lift up mirrored vanity section). I’ve spent the last few days deliberating whether to keep her a keeper 😬.

Incredible condition. All drawers and hinges run and glide smoothly and mirror fully intact. The only thing to highlight is where the veneer has raised in an area in the vanity section, this is hard and not flaking and not overly noticeable, please see last photo.

I don’t often sell Stag unpainted but this beauty is in excellent original condition so available as is (all runners and sides of drawers will be nourished with gorgeous orange grove scent furniture butter - should you wish), alternatively can paint and finish in a colour / design of your choice from the Fusion Mineral paint range (message for quote).

Available now. Vintage Harris Lebus chest of drawers. Lovingly refurbished in a gorgeous minty pastel - Fusion Laurentien two parts and toned down with one part white. Front legs and lower section striped and given a beige wash with intricate detailing which really makes it pop! Finished in a flat varnish to protect. Original drawer pulls in antique silver.

The two individual drawers are generous in depth and full measurements as follows;

Go bold or go home! Spent way more weeks procrastinating on ideas for this Mid Century Limelight tallboy than it took to complete. Painted in Fusion Mineral Wi******er - a deep baroque inspired burgundy, original drawer pulls in brass and finished in a flat wax finish varnish to protect.

Just LOVE these versatile leggy Stag Minstrel console tables. Painted in Cast Iron by Fusion Mineral paint, an elegant off-black. Thanks to my wonderful Dad, we worked hard this weekend in clearing my workspace. I knew I had been bad over the winter collecting a ridiculous amount of furniture but the extent of it became really apparent! 🙈 Firm buying ban now in place for a while.

The good news is that I can now take on some larger projects, however looking to first take on commissions to clear some existing stock. This beautiful leggy Harris Lebus chest of drawers was commissioned by a customer for her daughter’s bedroom and will be shortly off to Kent.

The top has been completely refinished using a stain and finishing oil, drawer insides painted in a light pink and the body painted in Laurentien by Fusion Mineral which is a beautiful minty retro green / blue and lightly distressed to add to its vintage appeal.

Back from an incredible holiday and I’m banishing the holiday blues by finishing this vibrant piece this weekend for a customer 🩵. Keep eyes peeled for the finished result. Also a photo of the new poster girl for paragliding (my lovely and adventurous daughter - my little furniture upcycling helper, taken on our recent holiday) - yes I did it too!
