Adding to the before & afters is the heart of the home - this beautiful handmade kitchen with large island. Originally home to horses when it was a simple barn, we’ve transformed it in to a place to cook, relax & entertain ❤️

How is started vs how it ended. During this project, the scope was increased to extend the originally planned living space. After going back through planning, we incorporated a large sunroom with sedum ‘living’ roof above & large bifold doors for that inside/outside flow & to flood light through into the kitchen space. This adds a modern edge to the original old barn building & now houses a dining area shown as well as a living area.

Who remembers the ‘living roof’ we installed? This offers a beautiful view out of the large windows of the back bedroom in Barn A.
This vegetation (in this case Sedam) was planted over a drainage membrane which is an eco-friendly alternative to traditional roofing. It creates a microclimate for insects & birds, reduces surface runoff & purifies air. Plus, not only does it look lovely & add greenery to that already stunning view, but it also has many home owner advantages including providing insulation & creating a sound barrier 🍃

We know you’re all dying to see upstairs, but first we have to take a moment to appreciate the absolutely beautiful bespoke oak & tulipwood staircase. This was designed & built in our joinery workshop by Paul before being expertly installed & painted in situ. What a showstopper 😍

The owner of this Old Bakery had the unfortunate task of finding someone to replace the shop front after a run in with a car 🚗 luckily we were able to help restore this back to it’s former glory. Finding that Monday motivation isn’t hard when you get to rise & shine in this beautiful bathroom we completed recently 🚿

Making the most of the late Summer sunshine at Barn A ☀️ the bifold doors open up to create the perfect spot for alfresco dining & bringing the outside in. We completed the landscaping including patio area (with slot ACO drains), retaining wall, lighting, water fountain & steps.

This beautiful staircase was completed by us a few years ago & is a real showstopper. Did you know we have our own joinery workshop & can make anything from bespoke bookcases & media units to full kitchens, stairs, windows & doors? 🪵

Not only did we transform this home with a large extension, but we also completed a large raised composite decking area. The perfect place for our clients to enjoy the sunshine…when it decides to show its face ☀️

This damaged wall had several issues & structural concerns. We rebuilt a large section to help it blend seamlessly using reclaimed Monkton Stone & repointed using traditional techniques. Doesn’t it look brilliant? Our clients were very pleased with how it turned out & sent an email stating “Have had a look at the work that you have done on the wall - thanks so much, great job” 👏🏻
