Chancellor set to hike employers' National Insurance at Budget Rachel Reeves is also expected to lower the threshold for when employers start paying the tax, in next week's Budget.

Are you aware that "The Allocation of Tips Act 2023" is now in force (from 1st October 2024)?
This means that where staff receive tips (including gratuities and service charges), employers must ensure that (among other things):

🍊Tips are distributed fairly to all workers.

🍊These payments must be made to staff in full (deductions
other than the statutory tax, national insurance and pension are

I had a fantastic afternoon at the Building Brands Marketing Conference at Somerset County Cricket Club yesterday.
Really useful (and entertaining!) workshops from Teapot Creative and Evo Agency and I enjoyed the talks from the two Keynote Speakers, Andy Lambert and Bethany Joy.
Lots of lovely people and a real positive energy throughout (and the buffet lunch was 10/10!) ❤️

Did you know you could be entitled to receive National Insurance Credits (towards your State Pension) if the parent / main carer receives Child Benefit for the child (as long as the parent / main carer does not qualify for National Insurance credits themself?)
