There have been a number of reports that since Apple has released iOS 16 it’s making a lot of the devices blank screen or freeze.

We would advise to not update your phone straight away and wait until they bring out an update to put right any unforeseen issues, they’re not usually far behind the original release.

This seems to be affecting the entire Apple iPhone range.

IOS 15 Update

It has come to our attention that with Apples latest software update they have implemented something within their software that will give a pop up message to say the screen is not genuine if it has been replaced even with a working screen from another device, this is for the iPhone 11 and 12 series phones. This is nothing new and Apple have been doing this with batteries and other components in the last few years.
This will in no way hinder the performance of the phone nor the screen but we thought we should be transparent and explain prior to you updating your devices.
There is also complaints of camera faults and sound issues across the range with many apps not functioning correctly. I'm hoping this gets patched very soon and we no longer get any issues, but again that's purely down to Apple.
There are a few isolated reports that Face ID will also stop working on older models whether the phone has been worked on or not, I'm yet to replicate this problem myself but extensive testing is being carried out.
Please be aware you may have some issues if updating.
