We had some lovely news from The Community Hub at North Ormesby today. Our baby yoga sessions at the hub, which have been so beneficial to so many new parents and families, are being subsidised by North Ormesby Big Local this term!

We are so grateful for these sessions enabling so many more new parents to have fun bonding with their little ones, meet other parents and gain skills and knowledge in their babies development.

Good Morning!
What have you got planned for the day?

Do you have a toddler who's been bouncing off the walls since 5am?!
Would you like some time to bond with your baby and meet other parents?

Our plan for the day is...
11am head to The Rings Community Hub for toddler class where we'll provide 4 walls that we're more than happy for them to bounce off! We'll even teach them to do it in a constructive way that helps build confidence! 💁🏼‍♀️

At 1:15pm we're going along to Ingleby Care Home - Hill Care for our baby class! We'll be making sure everyone from 6 weeks to 100 years leaves this class with a big smile 🥰

And this afternoon we're off to South Bank Primary School to work with their fantastic year 3's and 4's!

Children at Caedmon Primary School began their "Healthier Minds Project" yesterday!
They learnt about the 5 ways to wellbeing, WOW-ed their teachers with their ability to find stillness and strengthened their cores with their boat poses and balances!

We are looking for the next intake of enthusiastic yogis who would love to bring a touch of flexibility and relaxation not to mention music, singing and sensory to their busy baby lives!
Our classes promise to offer a safe and fun environment where development is a key benefit. PLUS it’s a great way for parents, aunts, uncles and grandparents to meet some other wonderful humans too.... 👌 👍

💜Lift up toilet seat and Cover your toilet bowl with celophane, close lid any hide any stray celophane so inquisitive kids don't see.
💜This will give you a shallow tray to place your cereal (we choose one that was least favourite and going a bit soft so wasn't too wasteful)
💜pair with your elf or elves, spoons, empty milk carton for desired effect!

Katie's journey to franchising started with her attending a baby yoga class with her first child. The opportunity to teach came up and eventually the franchise was up for resale and Katie became the new owner.

"I wanted to leave a very hectic and long day job as a service advisor. I attended classes with my daughter and loved it, started working as a teacher and loved it even more. At first I was apprehensive as I had never been self employed. But it was very easy and I got help from the team... Soon the area I was teaching became available to own, and I took it!"

What advice would you give anyone looking to take on a franchise?

"Take your time, make sure you have the extra time to do all aspects of the job well. Make sure you can afford to build up your business. It's hard to have the business knowledge at the start. But that's where being part of a team is great, they help you with ideas and advice. Although it’s my own branch I still like the idea of having a team so I don’t feel completely alone".
