How do you do it Alex?

Alex completed the Centurion ultramarathon on 8-9th June 2024 in 23 hrs and 34 mins.
He ran the 100 mile trail run from Wi******er to Eastbourne on the South Downs Way with a total climb of 12,000ft.

Well done!
He was back working on Monday!

Brilliant Alex! 33 hours 29 mins 21 seconds!

Do you know what Arc of Attrition is? No I didn't either!

The Arc of Attrition is a point-to-point extreme coastal race from Coverack to Porthtowan. Runners will complete an Arc around the entire south west foot of Cornwall. It is considered to be one of the most difficult events with up to half of the competitors not completing it.

Tomorrow ALEX SARABIA-LOCK will be taking part in this event and plans to run 100 miles!

The Christmas lights in Thame are looking fabulous and today is the first day of the Christmas Windows Competition. Please come and see our window. It was created by Tracy and Julie two very talented members of the Reception team. They created so many of the 'days', including the The 8 Maids a Milking which were made with a wooden beads and pipe cleaners and their outfits and buckets were all hand made. It's that time of year again! Yes, the Fair is coming! We will be open as usual in the mornings but on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday we will be closing at 2pm. Back to normal next week.

Some good news to start 2023. We were just one vote off winning the Thame Christmas window display competition; it was so close we received a prize! Many thanks for voting and huge thanks to our team for all their hard work!

Congratulations to Andrea Sarabia-Lock on achieving her FA Level 7 Referee qualification. As well as refereeing youth football, she runs 17 small pilates classes a week at the Chapel Studio and on Zoom. Following requests from our lovely patients our podiatrist, Rose, is now working on Wednesdays as well as Tuesdays. So it is now much easier to book an appointment with some appointments are available same day. Rose is HCPC registered and is also an experienced NHS podiatrist.

Despite thundery rain and winds Alex took part in the Bolton Ironman Triathlon on Sunday.

He took just under 15 hours to complete the 2.4 mile swim, the 112 mile bike ride and the 26.2 mile marathon.

He's already planning the next one!
