Sometimes, it's good to go to a & e straight away with injuries.. last Summer a friend of mine twisted his ankle, but his ligament actually tore a piece of the bone off, Owwchh..
I've got a slight injury since yesterday a.m..
But made it out today to pick some Apple's from the allotment at least..
and visiting.. ( now re-located ) friends from the allotment..
Hopefully, I'll be able to carry on with the re-decorating tomorrow.. or soon :) Xx

Avocado and tomato salad

the ingredients :
β’ 2 cups cherry tomatoes
β’ 2 avocados
β’ 1 large cucumber, sliced
β’half a red onion chopped
β’ Small mozzarella cheese balls
Β½ cup pesto sauce
β’Lemon juice
β’salt
β’black pepper
Method:
- Cut the tomatoes in half and quarters, then set them aside.
- Peel the avocado and cut it into medium-sized cubes.
- In a bowl, put the salad ingredients (tomatoes, avocado, cucumber slices, onions and mozzarella).
- Sprinkle salt, black pepper, lemon juice, pesto sauce, and stir.
- Pour the avocado and tomato salad into a serving dish and serve.

This is me earlier this week.. just out of my Mctimoney Chiropractic appointment. (Abingdon)
They have all been amazing, for me, I've been going for treatments with them now for a few years, all through Covid, they have all been lovely.
And help getting me re - aligned. I'll go back in 4 weeks..
I've given Soap to one of my Chiropractors to try.
One of them I gave an Apple π Tree. I hope it's still alive and growing π :)
And I have to get into better postural habits for the next few weeks. Shoulders back, etc
I usually take the next day off after these treatments and just go at my own pace. Rather than start lifting heavy stuff again immediately.
And yes, it has really helped the headache, caused mainly by Muscular Tension and my Posture.. as well as a bit of stress and probably hormones. But this one mainly Muscular Tension.
Even with my Yoga/ Pilates / Body Balance Classes, I'm also trying to give myself a break these days..

I was worried about the cost of buying foods this year, so I have sown lots of seeds and hopefully it will not only look like a work of Art soon, but be fruitful with Tomatoes, Courgettes, Corriander, Cinnamon Basil etc..
I'm booked this week. But have some availability next week to give treatments :)

Fresh Fruit Platter Recipe πππ
Create a vibrant and healthy Fresh Fruit Platter, perfect for gatherings, parties, or a refreshing snack.
Ingredients:
- 2 mangos, peeled and cubed
- 2 kiwis, peeled and sliced
- 1 pint strawberries, hulled and halved
- 1 pint blackberries
- 1 pint raspberries
- 1 pint cherries, pitted
- 1 pint blueberries
- 1 bunch seedless grapes, washed and stems removed
Directions:
1. Prepare the fruits by washing them thoroughly. Hull and halve the strawberries, peel and slice the kiwis, peel and cube the mangos, and pit the cherries.
2. Arrange the fruits on a large serving platter. Start by placing the cubed mangos in clusters on opposite sides of the platter.
3. Next, arrange the sliced kiwis in a line down the center of the platter.
4. Place the halved strawberries in clusters around the mangos.
5. Add the blackberries, raspberries, cherries, and blueberries in small sections around the other fruits.
6. Fill in any gaps with the seedless grapes.
7. Optional: Garnish with fresh mint leaves for an added touch of color and freshness.
Enjoy your Fresh Fruit Platter, a beautiful and delicious way to enjoy a variety of fruits!
I just delivered these yesterday to a disabled lady in a Wheelchair, that needed a bit of support. All grown by me from a seed or cutting.
I'm sure they will all get their 'Wings' and take off..
1 Black Currant/ Red Currant, 1 Pumpkin π ( they should grow huge) , 1 Tigerella Tomatoe, 2 indeterminate ' Small Oval delicious Tomatoe plants πͺ΄
I also cleared a few weeds and Watered her Garden, she had a hose Pipe, it was blissful, a treat..
I said I might pop in again in a few weeks.
The other Garden I'm working on is making progress.
And my own, also, making progress :) Xx
This was my first Raspberry harvest just the otherday. :)
They are flourishing β¨οΈ at the moment and overtaken the Strawberries.
I'm thinking of making some Raspberry Granola Bars (minus the Sugar)
And some Chocolate Covered Raspberries as Treats and to Freeze them to help π Chocolate Treats be more Nutritious :)

a touch of magic massage treatments
I started studying basic body massage at a further education college, in my first year of a Psychology (BSc) degree, over twenty years ago. During this time I also worked as an auxilliary nurse in a local hospital, in a few departments, including Psychiatric, mainly supporting mothers with post-natal depression and elderly patients with depression and anxiety related disorders, because I really wanted to :) And I also realised medication wasnβt the complete answer when it came to care :) I spent a lot of time monitoring fluids, and talking to people, as well as being with people on 24 hour obs as they were vulnerable. I also worked in Intensive Care, Renal & Neurological Rehabilitation. Some of the work was quite interesting and some quite tough with lots of lifting.
On completing my degree I studied for a diploma in Aromatherapy and a teaching qualification whilst caring for a lady with Multiple Sclerosis. I then went to Japan to teach English for two years and it was there that I started to study and practice Reiki, as well as play the Taiko drums with a group of women drummers. They were amazing and a much needed break from my busy 20 hours teaching each week. They picked me up from my house for practice each week, which was often on the side of a mountain or next to a rice paddy field. And were keen to get me to perform with them, which I did several times and enjoyed.
I then went to New Zealand for 1 year and spent time on organic farms and Yoga retreats, helping with fasting workshops and with organic farming. On my return, I came to Oxford and studied Reflexology, Indian Head massage, more advanced massage and I started working from from eau de vie, Natural Health Centre in Oxford. I gave treatments from there for over 10 years. Studied No Hands Massage, Practitioner Level, Advanced and one year on the Mastery training programme.
I also gave treatments from La Manior for 3 years, which I enjoyed, but could no longer tolerate the inappropriate shoes they were asking us to wear. whilst carrying heavy bags and a massage table up flights of stairs, I now give treatments from The Space Yoga in Thame, Yoga for Harmony in Windsor, The Wellbeing Clinic, Oxford only now and again & Home Visit Treatments or Events, Pamper Parties/ Yoga Retreats.
