We’re thrilled to be part of the transformative journey at the Carmelite Priory, where we’re contributing to the redevelopment of their serene site just outside Oxford. This project is all about enhancing the beauty of their grounds while preserving the tranquility that the Priory is known for.

Despite the challenges posed by the greenbelt status and the area’s rich ecology, we’re pleased to share that planning consent was granted earlier this year—a significant milestone for the Priory! Our design carefully replaces aging, mismatched structures with a harmonious new arrangement that embraces the stunning views of Oxford and the surrounding woodland.

As fundraising efforts continue, we’re looking forward to seeing this vision begin to come to life next year. It’s a true privilege to collaborate with such an inspiring client on a project that respects both their legacy and the natural landscape.

What a beautiful finish to this house project! It was a big project, adding a rear and side extension, a loft conversion and reconfiguring the staircase, giving the clients an extra bedroom and a stunning open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. Blending the classic charm of this 1930s house with modern living.

So happy to show another completed house project. This two-storey rear extension and radical renovation has massively improved the functionality of this house as a family home. The changing of the doors and windows and application of insulation and render has improved the aesthetic and thermal performance. Swipe to see the before photos.

It’s not every day that one of our buildings get opened by the Prince of Wales! Betel UK are an amazing charity, restoring so many lives that may have been affected by drug or alchohol addiction. To find out more about their great work go to their website: https://www.betel.uk We’re pleased they have been recognised for the incredible work they do, and we’re honoured to have played our part in designing the new Anchor Point building in Aston, Birmingham the new HQ and multi-purpose resource for Betel’s work in the UK. From an empty warehouse in 2019 to this multifunctional building, including hair dressing salon, black box theatre & ‘Infinite Arts’ performing arts centre, café, auditorium to seat 600, expandable to 1000, soft play, offices and much more! This transformation & repurposing of what was a utilitarian warehouse is inspired and the interior fitout and furnishing by Betel is outstanding. If you’re passing Aston, the Rising Café is well worth a visit, great food, great service, great building! Betel UK - Birmingham

Planning Appeal won and project under construction!

Not many of our projects have to go to a planning appeal, but on this occasion the Planning Inspectorate upheld our appeal and granted planning permission. Platinum Build are motoring onsite and the vision is becoming reality!

Even the most practical room can be full of character. This 1930s house extension and renovation has done just this. This is a bathroom to be proud of!

Delightful completed extension, keeping to the 1930s architecture.

We've turned 5!
Its been a great (& busy!) 5 years, working on almost 200 projects. We are proud of all we have achieved and are looking forward to what is coming up!

When space doesn't permit, the utility room can be tidily hidden away in a generous cupboard, readily accessible and completely practical.

A little goes a long way... this relatively modest rear extension and garage conversion has unlocked the potential of the house to provide for modern family needs.

Rooflights bring in 2/3rds more light than windows in walls and can completely transform a space. Adding these two roof lights to the garage conversion was a quick win.

Another way technological advance is changing the way we approach architectural design is the use of aerial drone photography. So helpful in site wide analysis & presentation for this client in North London

Virtual reality in the design process has transformed the way clients can interact with their building designs. We enjoyed hosting a client team at our office last week to show them around their proposed new building using the VR headset - modelled here by Jason! It's a completely immersive experience and a great communication and design tool; the best way we know to let clients experience their future buildings.

It was a privilege to be able to support Thame Shed in making their building ready for use. We love what they are doing in the community. Check out their website here https://www.thameshed.co.uk/ to find out more about what they do.

Another completed project; The Annexe. What was a single garage has been extended and converted to become a one bedroom annexe, fitting beautifully into its Cotswold stone surroundings. A modest outbuilding can have great untapped potential. Swipe to the end to see what it looked like just a few months ago.

We're delighted to have received planning consent for the sensitive replacement of this 'non-listed heritage asset' which once was the stable block to a Victorian country house, now The Hayes Conference Centre in Derbyshire. The new accommodation retains the existing stonework of two facades but entirely replaces the rest of the courtyard building to provide 35 ensuite double bedrooms, all on the same footprint. The first phase of the sitewide masterplan.

What do your toilets say about you? We've been working with this church to upgrade their tired toilets making for a much nicer experience and the building far more welcoming. Swipe for before!
