Well, what a day yesterday was! Thank you to everyone that supported Thetford Open Gardens.
Beautiful weather and a record number of burgers made and eaten. The generous donations for the food and beers are very much appreciated!

The families we guide and the people who we are privileged to help along each funeral journey, during what is such a private time and knowing we can help ease the process and see them feeling content. This is the ultimate reward.

I cannot thank Turner Funeral enough for the send off they enabled us to arrange for my Dad, Mark Oatridge.
From the minute Mal turned up to collect Dad we, as a family, knew he was in good hands.
Lydia and her team were just exceptional. Lydia was incredibly knowledgable. She listened to what we wanted and advised where we were unsure. Jo and Louise were great when we called and had questions- reassuring us that no question was too silly.
On the day we had an incredibly lovely driver- who was empathic and reassuring on the journey to the church.
As a family we had lived abroad- so we were keen to have a link setup for people who couldn’t attend in person. This was set with ease and allowed for families to celebrate Dad all over the world.
A difficult day was made as easy as Turner Funerals could make it. We are incredibly grateful for that. Couldn’t recommend them enough.

Mrs Turner will be running the London Marathon this Sunday as part of a team raising money for Dementia charities. We will be looking out on the BBC coverage Sunday morning! I’m pleased to announce, with the families permission, that we started our repatriation for the late Craig Mackintosh on September 12th, driving through Holland, Germany and Poland. We ventured into Ukraine on Monday 19th September and drove to Lviv where with great relief we took Craig into our care. We finally touched uk soil again on Thursday 22nd and brought him back home to Thetford.
One photo below shows Ukraine patrol points that are under military control.
Craig can now be laid to rest by his family. 🙏
