Bethan will guide you through Yin Yang inspired Yoga.
The aim is to create a strong flowing Yang practice balanced with a slower Yin practice.
Arm strength yoga, a chance to check into the shoulders and upper back.
Malasana, garland pose. Grounding and essentially relaxing. A pose to connect to earth and home.
Summer yoga, bridge pose feels rejuvenating for the head and face. Arm and upper back strength is all. Apples and lobster pots for summer.

Puppy pose - anahatapose, anahata is the heart chakra. Upper back release, heart opener, and shoulder stretch.
The programme for Buddhafield festival has dropped and I’m teaching Gentle Hatha in the yoga space on Saturday and Sunday morning at 8-9am -

Easing out the back, waist twist and shoulder release. Feeling the surrendering in the hard to get place between the shoulder blades. Check out the QR code to book onto my class. Most of the time, my practice leads me into playing with certain poses and finding one that hits the sweet spot for today. This one is perfect if you’ve been using your upper body a lot, working, typing, sorting out your desk, looking for the paper clip, try this pose. For a minute or two and let it do its magic.
Taking time to decompress is important. Downward facing dog releases the whole spine and stretches the back of the legs and shoulders. It strengthens the arms and creates an inversion (head lower than heart) - a pose that lets stress flow out into the earth beneath you. And the Earth processes it away.
Chair pose variation, spinal twist, stretch through the upper back and shoulders. Exploring a pose that is challenging and finding an edge. Relishing that place for a while.
Half moon pose with variation under the beech tree.
Simple pose for hip opening, lower back release and leg stretch. Inward looking and nurturing, a break from Yang - time inside Yin - calm, still, no pressure.
Hip openers can bring us into the moment through the increased sensations. Breath, posture, abdomen and back are all challenged. This pose can be done seated , lying down or standing - Hindolasana.
Yoga strap love. Sitting with the strap holding my upper arms like that helps tension from the shoulders let go. Shoulder therapy.
Shoulder stretch and balance for strength and a flying feeling next to a complementary grounding pose with pigeon. A gorgeous combination.
That upper back twist feeling
Hamstring stretch therapy is much needed and very enjoyable, nothing beats it for releasing tension and finding some edge and gaining self confidence and feelings of personal achievement.. a good way to enter spring, and there are many variations
A little bit of restorative yoga for calming
Simple shoulder stretch practice with a strap. Deep release
