I really believe a home should be a reflection of the people who live within it. It’s a foundation of who we are as it’s where we start & end most of our days, so it should nurture us as individuals.

My why is to help people express themselves in their homes confidently through colour & pattern so that they can wake up every day in a home that brings them joy & confidence. It’s how I worked with my clients as an interior designer & it’s what I hope to carry on doing through my home accessories.

That’s it, the Christmas school holidays are officially over, drop off’s done & straight onto the production line I go!

2024 is promising to be a real shift for me as I step away from my interior design services & move into the world of handmade lampshades. But this is the year that I’m taking risks & making the leap!

My personal journey of creative discovery continued today with yet another fabulous course with 🎨

It was absolutely fascinating (& challenging in all the best ways) to dip my toe into the world of watercolours with the queen of botanical watercolours .charlotte 👑

I feel so lucky to have such a special hub of creativity on our doorstep, to be mentored by the best in the biz & to add yet another little string to my bow.. now to apply my new skills to my future plans for !

After an amazing year off, I’m putting my design hat back on & dusting off the samples in the studio.. & while I plan to continue running our interior design studio , I have some big business developments in the pipeline that will see us branching out with a very exciting new sister venture over the coming months. So please stay tuned!

Easter’s one of my favourite occasions of the year. I have the best memories of hopping back to Guernsey for a sunny weekend with my family & there’s something about this time of year.. of new life.. new beginnings.. a new (sunnier) season.. that makes it so special.

Maybe that’s why I love designing an Easter more than any other.. or maybe it’s all the cute bunnies & gingham!🐰🥚

Just a little thank you for all the lovely messages I received after my post yesterday.

After I hit post, I actually crawled out of my sick bed & started to get our biggest little ready for nursery only to find he had chicken pox 😅 (one of those ‘must laugh or I’ll cry moments’)

Needless to say, this week is NOT the week but Spring’s in the air & the promise of a mountain of Easter eggs is keeping me going 🥚🥚🥚

It’s been a pretty rough few days with a trip to A&E over the weekend with a raging virus(? still unsure) & suspected sepsis.. but I’m slowly getting back on my feet. One of life’s reminders to remember to take care of yourself..

So I’ve bumped myself up my list of priorities this week, doctor’s orders! And so if you’re waiting on me, please do bare with!
