Every detail of this bathroom makes me smile. From the curved polished plaster arches above the bath, the Calacatta Oro marble, to the bronze framed doors with ribbed glass and all topped off with these yellow wall lights with raw linen shades. The combination of polished plaster, honed marble and unlacquered brass in this recently completed master bathroom creates a soft palette of layered textures, for a spa like experience at home.

It has been a busy month, including two whole house project completions. Seeing the finished details come together, including the curves and textures of this beautiful master bathroom, make it all worthwhile.

Detail, detail, detail… this beautiful hand bespoke panelled door is one of a whole house delivery ready for installation. The same smokey wood finish has been continued onto the staircase. Images of the completed project to follow next month.

Still looking fresh. A memory from a project completed over 10years ago and the tadelakt plaster wall finish just gets better with age.

Linear lighting highlights the textured plaster walls.

Seamless wall and floor finish. Beautiful tactile texture achieved with the waterproof plaster finish and accented with vertical concealed LED light source.

The ochre and rust colour cushions add warmth to the living room/kitchen palette and reference the oak of the kitchen cabinets in the same space.

Nice piece of kit... This Gaggenau hob nestles perfectly into the marble worktop with controls fitted over the bespoke kitchen joinery. German engineering combined with British craftsmanship, perfection.

Pull up a chair... The kitchen is the centre of activity in most homes so a comfortable perch is essential. These bespoke barstools are upholstered in contrasting seat and back fabrics and are not only incredibly comfortable but also a beautiful way to introduce textiles into the generally hard surface finishes of the kitchen. Beneficial for acoustics as well as aesthetics.

Mountains Above Clouds has been created in a bespoke colourway unique to this home and with the Clients addition of an endangered Siberian Tiger hidden amongst the trees. Installed above the original Queen Anne panelling of the galleried hallway in a family home, it is a magical addition to the already architecturally stunning entrance hallway.

“Infinite riches in a little room” Marlowe. This Porta Romana, Marlowe lamp is actually placed in an extensive study but a statement lamp is the perfect example of practicality and beauty combined.

It’s ready... completion of the master interior design and finishes for this fabulous new build family home. We’ve enjoyed working with the owners and our favourite suppliers to create a luxurious but relaxed interior scheme.

Always a pleasure to work with a client keen to combine their existing furniture with new and sourced antiques. This corner of the living space blends both palette and centuries of furniture design to great effect.

Adjoining the green kitchen we added this crittall glazed frame access to the pantry. Still looking fresh 5yrs later.

I had a call from a fabulous client who we worked with over 5years ago on this beautiful kitchen as part of a full house extension and renovation. It reminded me that when we presented the initial scheme which combined green cabinetry with concrete worktops and crittall windows, the initial response was that she just hated green, not just disliked but actually hated green... not a great start to our design presentation! Anyway, a few discussions later and following a trip to America photographing everything green that the client saw and loved, the finishes were signed off. Yesterday I was soo heartened to hear that she has never looked back and this remains a favourite space in their family home. A reminder that our job is to support interior choices which maybe challenge our clients default position. With an understanding of the clients lifestyle we present our vision of their completed home and work together to ensure the client feel comfortable with their final design sign-off.
