2 jumpers built and ready to sew up. This is the bit I don’t like. 1st one is James C Brett chunky yarn, pattern is Everyday Sweater by Rainbow Folk, 2nd one is a stash buster scrap yarn project, Rico pattern, and much easier when there aren’t extra sleeve seams to incorporate.
If anyone’s wondering what 200m of continuous zip looks like, well now you know.
The day has come that I need to get rid of the zips. There’s maybe 15,000 🤷♀️ Most wrapped in 100s and 50s apart from the burgundy and pink that I started to wash. Anyone interested message me and I will send sizes and colours. I can post them in packs of 100 or someone can have the lot.
I’ve been a bit quite lately as I’m currently teaching on the BTEC Art & Design course at Sunderland College. I love it and l especially love when the students get to showcase their work. This Thursday is BTEC Art & Design, Digital Art, & Photography Exhibition. Come along and be enthralled.
If I haven’t yet invited you to the Foundation & HNC exhibition tonight at Sunderland Bede college, please consider yourself invited.
A sneak preview of the new crochet pieces I am working on. Designed by ai and showing the successes and failures of ai designed patterns.
I love having a nice notebook but when I have ten scattered around and I have to find the one I wrote a knitting pattern in it gets a bit complicated…
I hung my macrame hangers on spare knitting needles.
An apology post. I just discovered that some of the macrame kits I sold might have a section of the instructions missing. 😭 I’m really sorry. If you bought one and it doesn’t make sense please get in touch and I’ll send you the full instructions.
I’ll be at Ouseburn market on Saturday. Come and say hi 👋🏻
The sky was stunning first thing. I contemplated going for a swim but I think it’s still too cold for me. Settled for coffee looking at the view instead.
Was a lovely cold and crispy day at . I didn’t get much chance to take more photos or to go Xmas shopping but thanks to everyone who came down, and all the market crew for their hard work. Merry chrimbo to you all 🎄 🤶🏻 🎅
I’ll be at Ouseburn market on Sunday 11th. With my flask of coffee and new fleece hat to keep warm. See you there 👋🏻

We are super excited to share our Workshop Programme for Autumn/Winter 2022 🌞 Finally! This has been something we wanted to run from day one. The first session is NEXT WEDNESDAY! Each workshop has a different number of places but all will take place at the shop around our table!
There is a special tab on the website just for workshops and you can click straight through to EVENTBRITE to sign up. We’ll be posting about each workshop in more detail over this coming week 👌
Yesterday’s walk when the tide was out meant I could walk round the rocks between Longsands and King Edwards Bay. Colours and patterns giving me inspiration.
This Sunday I’ll be with my handmade products and kits and info about future workshops. There’ll be lots of fab stalls, and food, and live music. What’s not to love? 💙
