Baby octopus, calamari and chorizo stew full of flavour and extra tender done with Espelette peppers ( basque spicy pepper )smoked paprika and of course garlic and wine 😊😊😊😊
Go with absolutely anything,pasta ,rice potatoes etc …

Good evening everyone !!!!!!
Just dig up a old recipe with Hake I use to do ,I believe it was a Spanish recipe from Galicia.
You can easily substitute the Hake with Cod or even Haddock
Very easy to do ,and extremely enjoyable 😃🇪🇸🐟❤️

Ingredients
50ml olive oil
2 onions, sliced thinly
6 garlic cloves, sliced
2 tsp paprika
2 fresh fresh chorizo, cut into slice
100g padron peppers or other tiny green peppers, sliced
900g baby new potatoes ,cut in half
85ml dry white wine
300ml of fish stock ( fish cube stock or vegetable can be use )
4 x 225 g hake steak or fillets
salt and freshly ground black pepper

Method
Heat the olive oil add the onions and garlic and cook gently until soft.
Add the paprika and fry for 2–3 minutes, then add the chorizo sausage and green peppers and fry for another 3–4 minutes.
Stir in the potatoes, then pour in the wine and water, season with some salt and pepper and simmer for about 10 minutes, until the potatoes are just tender and the liquid has reduced a little.
Season the hake steaks well on both sides. Put them on top of the potatoes, cover and simmer for 8–10 minutes, until the hake is cooked through.

Here a lovely recipe for sea bass served 4 people,
Hope you enjoy it

Ingredients

4 xsea bass fillets, about 140g/5oz each, skin on and scaled
about 3 tbsp sunflower oil
large k**b of ginger, peeled and shredded into matchsticks
2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
2 fat, fresh red chillies deseeded and thinly shredded
bunch spring onion, shredded long-ways
1 tbsp soy sauce
Chopped coriander
1 lime juice

Method
STEP 1
Season 6 sea bass fillets with salt and pepper, then slash the skin 3 times.
STEP 2
Heat a heavy-based frying pan and add 1 tbsp sunflower oil.
STEP 3
Once hot, fry the sea bass fillets, skin-side down, for 5 mins or until the skin is very crisp and golden. The fish will be almost cooked through.
STEP 4
Turn over, cook for another 30 seconds - 1 minute, then transfer to a serving plate and keep warm. You’ll need to fry the sea bass fillets in 2 batches.
STEP 5
Heat 2 tbsp sunflower oil, then fry the large k**b of peeled ginger, cut into matchsticks, 3 thinly sliced garlic cloves and 3 thinly shredded red chillies for about 2 mins until golden.
STEP 6
Take off the heat and toss in the bunch of shredded spring onions. Splash the fish with 1 tbsp soy sauce and spoon over the contents of the pan.
STEP 7
Finish it with coriander and lime juice
