With the final events of the season done and dusted we’ve hung up our aprons for the summer. We’ll be back next season though and with our new menu. See you then! 😁
Sunday saw our U14 Hawks celebrate their season at Smiths on Sunday. They did it in style with burgers and chips, their trophy presentation and a game of football.

We had a fantastic, fun end to our season on Saturday.
The rain held off and Smiths was a whirl of activity with children, football, bouncing, eating, drinking, running around and trophies.
A big thank you goes to our events team who manned the sweet stall, café and barbecue, supervised the bouncy castles, set up the pitches and did the big tidy up.
Well done to our amazing Saturday club coaches who engaged with the children making the day extra special for them and thank you to those members of the committee who put the whole thing together making sure everything was in place.
Thank you for coming! 💙
The calm before the storm…
Presentation day at Unicorn! 🔵⚪️
Well - what a successful weekend we had at our tournament!
We had 108 teams from over 25 clubs come and contribute to a weekend of great football.
A huge thankyou to everyone at Unicorn who helped make this weekend happen - from the committee and coaches, right through to past and present players and parents of the club.
Thanks to everyone who helped get Smiths in shape for this weekend, as well as Cheshire Surfacing Ltd for supplying us with some much needed cones!
We hope you all enjoyed it, and look forward to seeing you all again next year! ⚽️
We are looking forward to welcoming children from 25 different clubs to our tournament over the course of this coming weekend.
There will be a wide range of food and drinks available for everyone at Smiths, as well as on site parking (£3) and most importantly… FOOTBALL! 🙌
Even if you’re not directly involved with anyone playing at the tournament, please feel free to pop down for some food, drink and exciting football! 😁
See you all soon! 🎉⚽️
Our u11 Real came away from the Hazel Grove Tournament victorious earlier this month. Congratulations to all of the players and coaches for this great achievement! 🏆⚽️

Congratulations to our U10 Cyclones and U10 Twisters who both qualified and competed in their Timperley & District Spring Cup Finals last weekend at Trafford FC. They were well fought battles with only 1 or 2 goals in it.
Unicorn coaches Olly Baker, Danny Woods, Andy Gill and Mike Keane were naturally gutted for their players but are set to go again next season.
Well done Cyclones and Twisters – you made us proud again!

Another Unicorn double Spring Cup final took place at Trafford FC on Sunday featuring our Knights and Gladiators. Both matches were a treat to watch and our teams battled hard for a victory.
It wasn’t to be this season for either team or their coaches Dan Seeds, Nigel Higgins, Chris Burgess and Paul Reid but there’s always next season lads!

At Unicorn, we are immensely proud of our outlook on “football for all”.
As another season comes to a close, we can look back with pride as our girls section has successfully expanded with the help of our dedicated coaches and Wildcats programme.
We now not only have our U14 Comets and U15 Shooting Stars, who compete each week in the SMGFL, but over 40 girls ranging from 4-11 years of age, who are able to develop their football along side expert coaches and volunteers from our older teams.
We’d like to thank Swietelsky Rail Benelux, Crescent Dental Care Hale and Tallon & Associates Ltd for sponsoring our girls this year - here is to another successful season! 🦄
Massive congratulations to our U14 Falcons, who extended their cup success to clinching promotion to division 1, ending their season 11 games unbeaten.
Well done guys! 💪
Congratulations to our U13 Cobras who battled away relentlessly in their cup final this week. With one goal between the two finalists it was anybody’s game, but not ours this time.
With two matches left to play and the league championship still up for grabs the Cobras, along with coaches Adam Tarling and Richard Stark, still have a job left to do.
Come on Unicorn Cobras – we’re all rooting for you!
