"On the Acting course, we get to be involved in so much, including lighting, music and costume. I enjoy building my characters and being able to play a variety of roles which I then perform at the end of year shows. My tutors are the best I've ever had and we have all become close friends in the class."

‘Actual Acting’ with affiliated company 'Actual Size' is back for 2024/25.
"Last year was a great success, we had brilliant time nurturing new talent, working with established actors and championing theatre in our region. The year ended with a well-received production of Steven Berkoff’s ‘Dahling You Were Marvelous’. This year promises to be even more exciting.
We have increased the sessions to 2.5 hours so that we have more time to explore texts and associated skills.
Sessions start on Tuesday 10th September @ 6.00pm at Mechanics Theatre, Wakefield, Wood Street.
If you are a returner or interested in getting involved, then please email us to confirm attendance on the 10th September @ [email protected]
Further information can be found on our website @ www.astheatrecompany.com on the ‘Actual Acting’ page.
Hope to see you there.
