We're always looking to expand our section on the local history of Pelsall, Walsall and the surrounding areas. All of these books are available to be loaned out with our free membership and of course we're grateful for any donations! 📚

We have a lovely display at the front of the book exchange where we are not only selling donated books that we could not fit onto our shelves but also donated DVDs! We switch up the books regularly so it's always worth a browse with easy payment at our honesty box. 📚

We're on the third day of our Easter Book Sale where all of the books on the tables at the front and the shelves facing the café are just 50p! We'll be open until 3.00 today but after today all the way up until next Monday we'll be leaving the tables out so even though the book exchange will be closed feel free to come down, pick up some books and pay via our honesty box!

We're now on day two of our big book sale! As before we're open from 10-3 today selling a selection of good quality books we've prepared for 50p each. All profits will go towards the continued operation of Pelsall Book Exchange so come on down and take a look. 🐇🐣

Our Spring book sale starts today! For today, tomorrow and Thursday from 10 until 3 Pelsall Book Exchange will be selling all of the books on the tables at the front as well as our usual for sale books for 50p each! Come on down for some great deals on books in good condition whether it's for the little ones or yourself. 🐣📚

Pelsall Book Exchange will be holding an Easter Book Sale during the second week of the Easter break, and for that reason we will also be opening on Wednesday 3rd April as well!

We will be having two tables in front of the Book Exchange at the Village Centre and all books will be 50p including some reads we have kept in store for the sale. All proceeds will go to the continued running of the Book Exchange and as always we thank you for your support in donating all of these lovely books to us.

Mother's Day is fast approaching and we have this lovely book by Twinkl, 'Mother's and Other's Day' that follows Akal who moves to a new village and discovers that there are lots of people in our lives who deserve to be celebrated.

Mother's and Other's Day is available for loaning out from our children's section and a big thank you to all of the mothers and others who stop by and pay us a visit here at Pelsall Book Exchange. ❤️📚

Looking for recent releases? We regularly update our new books stand whether we receive them as donations or buy them ourselves so that everyone can enjoy the latest literature! All of the books we buy are based on the most popular interests of our members, so it's always worth popping in to take a look. 😊

Alongside our Winter Warmers we currently have a collection of Harlan Coben books inspired by the popular adaptations of their work on Netflix! If you're looking for the books that the series are based on and more we have them for loaning out right across from the desk next to our non-fiction and talking books shelf.

We're happy to announce that Pelsall Book Exchange is open and has returned to normal opening hours on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 10 - 3 now that we're back from our winter holidays! We may have put away our festive decorations but we still have plenty of Winter Warmers on display for loaning out. 😊❄️

Hello everyone!

We're coming to the end of another great year at Pelsall Book Exchange where our selection of books has only expanded and the number of people using our service has continued to rise. Thank you all so much for your donations and continued support this year.

We'll only be open this Tuesday and Thursday before we close until January 8th, so whether it's for our Christmas Story Corner or to stock up on winter reads at our book sale we encourage you to head down before we close for the holidays!

One more week left of our lovely Christmas Storytime corner drop ins between 10 and 2 in our children's section which we've decorated into a festive little grotto! Each storytime session lasts 20 - 30 minutes and you can drop in and out at any time and we will extend the session accordingly - we still have plenty of treats of reindeer food and bookmarks for afterwards as well!

Pelsall Book Exchange has had a merry makeover as we head into the festive period! We hope you can all make it down and visit us over this month and see all of the winter reads we've picked out for you.

We're also excited to be starting our Christmas reading corner where from 11 to 2 during our opening hours throughout December, our volunteers will be available to read winter themed stories to any child (or adult!) and provide a little gift to the kids at the end. Sessions last 20-30 minutes and parental supervision is required, please do not bring hot drinks into the children's section. ♥️ ☃️

Each day we are open between 11 and 2 from the 5th to the 21st of December feel free to pop down to the book exchange with your child where we would be happy to read them some seasonal stories and even give them a little bookmark gift from us as well!

Parental supervision will be required and we ask that any hot drinks be drank away from the children's section to avoid any accidents. Pelsall Book Exchange will continue to operate normally throughout story corner hours.

Seen as we want to make the experience a little magical for the kids, for this reason we will also be decorating the book exchange even more than usual this year so there is still something to see for everyone. We look forward to welcoming you here whether it's for Christmas stories or to loan out/buy some winter reads!

Plenty of new books on offer this week from recent and popular authors! A range of topics are available to be loaned out for a month at a time here at Pelsall Book Exchange. 📚

Some spooky stuff is creeping and crawling into Pelsall Book Exchange this week. Keep an eye out for our upcoming displays full of mischief, mystery and magic as Halloween draws ever closer! 🧙‍♂️

We have a selection of magazines that are free for you to take home with you both by the desk and at the front of the book exchange. These magazines are kindly donated to us and we receive new ones quite regularly so it's definitely worth popping in to take a look!

Autumn is here so come down to Pelsall Book Exchange, maybe buy a pumpkin spiced latte from Sprinkles Tearoom, and have a browse of our autumn reads! Alongside our books on the Bake Off and Strictly, we've selected a few reads that are perfect for the season which are available to loan out.

We currently have a box full of school books for music classes behind the counter at Pelsall Book Exchange. If you are interested in taking one or the whole box of them off our hands they are free to a good home (or class!)

As the Great British Bake Off and Strictly storm our televisions we have you covered with all of the associated literature. From Tales From the Dance Floor to the Great British Bake Off recipe book, we have a whole range of books available for loaning out just across from our front desk!

A bit late to the trend but while we get together an autumnal array of literature for our seasonal display, we've embraced our inner Kenergy and had fun making a Barbie Movie themed display with all the Barbara's and Ken's that our Book Exchange has to offer!
