Hi Everyone. As you know this month, the last Monday is a bank holiday.

We won't be running the Guitar Club this month as many of the people needed to run the event are unavailable.

We should be running the club as usual on Monday 24th June.

Looking forward to seeing everyone then.

For those who know... I had become less than thrilled with my Gibson 335 after having a Bigsby fitted....

It sat in the case unused for weeks on end as less prestigious guitars were put to good use.

Then, a chance visit to Gig Gear led to the discovery of a Heritage 535...

I was smitten and following some spirited haggling traded the 335 for the 535..

Last night was the first time it was seriously used...

Wow!

Clear sweet lead tones

Great comp sounds

Light to wear but cutting through the mix beautifully.

Perfect for jazz or rock...

It's been a while since The Trees were featured on our page. Steve D covering for Dave Crook on drums. The Trees will be on the main stage at Rock The Castle on Sunday August 6th from about 4:30 - 5pm (ish)

News Flash! Tonight's Trees gig at The Snug in Ware has been cancelled.

Morning all! Great to see so many new faces at the club last night.

In order to make sure everyone is happy with the videos we produce, I store them unlisted on YouTube so that you control who gets to see them.

A fully mastered video with remixed sound takes about 2 hours work for a 5 minute track so we tend to offer about 3-4 of these per month.

Monday 29th May is our next gathering! Yes it's a Bank Holiday but we've had two already this month!

Doors open at 7:30 and it's still just £5 for a fantastic festival of fretboard fun!

The last few months have been very well attended and the following reminders help us to get as many acts on stage as possible

Please tune up before going on stage

Let the organisers know if you need a music stand or backing tracks or any supporting musicians.

Please keep solos short and sweet!
