Hi Everyone - we have decided to have a break from running the campsite this year :-)

I know most people won't see this but just doing my best to let you know if you follow this page.

If you came to Hyde Campsite last year you’ll remember our dog, Doug.

Can you tell how excited he is to see you again? 😂

He’s very friendly but does like to wander over and steal balls ⚽️ - just thought I’d warn you!

We're back again!

We've taken a look at last year's busiest times and have decided to mix it up a bit this year :-)

We have decided to open for all the May Bank Holidays and the May half term....
....all the weekends in June
...and the August Bank Holiday too. 💥

We're looking forward to seeing return campers and to meeting new people again this summer :-)

The sun was kind this weekend ☀️

Father and son enjoyed a 4 day stay at Hyde and went canoeing every day around our beautiful Jurassic coastline.

We believe that when you’re camping you shouldn’t hear the snores from other people’s tents unless they are in your own group.

Our super-large pitches mean there’s space for large groups to be together and feel, almost, like you have the whole 26 acre meadow to yourself 🏕❤️

Back-to-nature camping.

Peace and quiet.

We offer back-to-nature camping with clean composting loos and mains water.

Our campsite is not for you if you want lots going on, lots of people, mod-cons and easy-camping 😂

It would be great if you’re the type of campers who want to chill out and relax in peaceful surroundings without being able to hear your neighbours snoring!
