Woodyhyde Campsite
Set in the heart of the beautiful Purbeck countryside, large 13 acre rural campsite spread across 3 separate fields.
There are no pitches marked out, instead we like to create a relaxed atmosphere so visitors can pitch up where they prefer.
Only 30 minutes to go until BBC Springwatch is live at RSPB Arne!
We're looking forward to hearing more about the Peregrine family tonight.

Come along to Middle Beach on Bank Holiday Monday to enjoy fun family activities by Dorset Coast Forum and meet Eilidh Middleton the artist behind Neptune, the Seahorse Sculpture.
Eilidh created Neptune to highlight the declining seagrass meadows in the UK and its important role in water quality, nurturing sea life as well as locking up carbon.
Eilidh will host 20-minute conservation talks at 11am, 12noon, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm.
We also have a family fun seahorse trail starting at Knoll Beach, finishing at Neptune in Middle Beach. We hope to see you there!

Transport yourselves back to the early 17th century to a war-free Corfe Castle... 🏰
The Outer Bailey, once a bustling working village for the King's servants, had been transformed into a terraced garden adorning topiary and obelisks; ornate sculptures and fountains. ⛲️🌹
All this was done under the hands of Lady Elizabeth Hatton, who managed the estate for 38 years before selling it to John Bankes in 1635.
Whilst this transformation was frowned upon by military folk, you can't deny how beautiful it would have looked back then!

Hello sunshine!
Did the know The Blue Pool dates back to the 17th Century?
The former clay pit was dug by hand and the Purbeck 'blue ball clay' was extracted to make ceramic products for famous British pottery companies such as Wedgewood.

You'll notice an area of yellow buoys has popped up recently. They are there to mark the seagrass meadows below.
Seagrass is a protected but vulnerable feature of Studland Bay. It's valuable in many ways such as for carbon storage, a safe place for various marine species and also acts as a natural filter.
Within the yellow buoys is a voluntary no anchor zone and you'll see eco-moorings being placed there soon. Limiting human disturbance will allow the seagrass to naturally regenerate.
