We are proud to be part of the Wareham Church Family and seek to reach out to all our parishioners with God’s love, being led by the Holy Spiri

It was so good to have been part of this yesterday as Wild Card, Christian Climate Action, Chris Packham and loads of other lovely people gathered to march, sing, pray and challenge the Church of The Church of England to rewild 30% of its land by 2030; to manage it, as the fifth mark of mission says, in a way that will "strive to safeguard the integrity of creation, and sustain and renew the life of the earth."
Outside St Pauls Cathedral we unrolled the "95 Wild Theses" and various people spoke words of inspiration and challenge. We were disappointed that the Cathedral had felt the need to put up barriers to keep us of the steps and the piazza in front of the Cathedral - but we weren't about to give up our action that easily. We hope that they still heard and will be touched by what we had to say.
And one more thing to bring Creation-tide to a celebratory end.....
Well we went for our reflective walk. We saw cormorants coming in to roost in the trees at the edge of the water meadows, heard the deer calling and the wren chattering, and felt the gentle touch of the rain. And there was just a hint of sunset. Feeling peaceful.
Wednesday, all welcome. We might just see the sun set at the end of the walk.
