STREETZ cic - helping to prevent youth homelessness.
WARRINGTON WE NEED YOUR HELP!
We are hoping to launch our Peaceful Minds Project later this year which aims to provide educational, employment and emotional well-being support to young vulnerable adults most at risk of homelessness within the Warrington area.
In order to run this program we need to increase the donations that are coming in so we are asking if you would please consider taking part in the Warrington Community Lottery.
Your support enables us to support more and more young people and hopefully keep them from a life on the streets with no future to speak of.
Massive thanks to UK Endeavour Team Pendle who collected for us yesterday at their local carnival. Your support is invaluable to us so a huge thank you ๐๐

Graham Humphrey Warehouse Manager of GXO and his wife Susan who became aware of the work of Streetz community interest company though the pageant community have very generously donated a whopping ยฃ5000 to help Streetz continue their fight to prevent youth homelessness.
Graham said โas part of GXOโs drive to support local groups and charities we complete various events throughout the year to raise for money great causesโ. He added โwe also have a staff shop which is supported by many suppliers that deliver into the RDCโs. Any stock over delivered that the suppliers are happy not to have returned is retained on site and sold through the staff shop at discounted prices. This is non profitable to the organisation with half the funds going towards the running of the shop and the other 50% being donated to great causes and charities around the UK. The charities are nominated by the staff and a selection panel then decide where monies are to be allocated. This is done on a quarterly basis. Streetz cic was nominated as part of the Leyland RDC process as they are within the NW area. It was a real pleasure to see ยฃ5000 awarded to such a worthy causeโ
On behalf of all of us at Streetz and the amazing young adults we support we would like to say a massive THANK YOU to all the staff at GXO for this incredible donation.
Graham is pictured with Streetz Directors Yolande Berry & Kathryn Ozmaya at the presentation of the ยฃ5000 cheque.

We were lucky enough to receive some extra Easter eggs yesterday at a charity pageant event so thank you to Layla-Rose Ryan Cowburn & Joanne Smith, your donations are very greatly received ๐ฃ
Itโs that time of year when we all look forward to the Easter ๐ฐ showing up to bring us ๐ซ ๐ฃ ๐ฅ and Louis and his friends at Verve House (your housing group) Warrington were very happy with this delivery today, only made possible because of the support we receive at Streetz by our incredible supporters and fundraisers.
All young people deserve to have the same advantages in life even if that is something as simple as receiving an easter egg.
We have big plans for 2024 and hope that you will continue to support us.

UPDATE:
Thank you to everyone who reached out to offer their services, apologies that we have not responded to you all individually as yet. We have selected a service provider who shares our vision regarding the prevention of youth homelessness.
Thank you ๐
Streetz are looking for someone with experience of WIX to help build their website in order to be able to raise our profile within the community so we can reach more young adults who are at risk of homelessness. We are happy to pay reasonable expenses but cannot afford to allocate valuable funds to a website company.
If you can help please message Kathryn รzmaya
We already own our domain name but have no experience of building a website via WIX
If you know someone who could potentially help us please pass on our details ๐๐

Easter and Christmas are two of my most favourite times of year but not because of the reasons you might think.
For the second year running, since forming Streetz Cic I have had the ultimate pleasure of delivering advent calendars & selection boxes last December and Easter Eggs today for the young people who reside at Verve Place.
What might be something many of us take for granted Ia something that some of their residents wouldnโt get if we werenโt able to raise the funds to be able to purchase them.
Thank you to everyone who continues to supports Streetz we very much appreciate it ๐

Cleaning the Streetz
Where weโll be looking to ensure that every young person at Verve Place is provided with washing powder & softeners. We all take clean clothes for granted but when you donโt have access to the funds to buy these items it can impact massively on mental health.
Please join us and pledge one pack of washing tablets or one bottle of fabric softener ๐๐
Streetz would like to thank Caitlyn and her mum Denise for their generous donation of ยฃ88.50 raised by Caitlyn holding a pageant photo competition.

We are a very happy staff here at Streetz having been able to supply 8 young people with the items they need in order for them to attend college. From maths to English to sociology to law, text books have been handed over with other stationery items bought with the funds raised by our amazing supporters.
If you feel you could support Streetz and the young people who desperately need our help please get in touch ๐
A massive thank you to everyone who has supported us to date.
We often show our fundraising activities but we donโt often show where the funds that all our incredible fundraisers raise goes.
Today I had the privilege of taking young Ellie from Verve Place to purchase some safety boots so she will be able to undertake a construction based course at college. This gives her an amazing opportunity to forge an amazing future for herself.
We also took deliver of a large quantity of stationery which will be donated to those also starting college courses within the next week or two.
Believe it or not even something as simple as a few pens & pencils can make a huge difference to these young peoples lives.
A huge thank you ๐ to everyone who has supported Streetz so far,
