Why do we need fat in our diet?
As well as being a source of energy, fat is essential for absorbing certain vitamins. Vitamins A, D, E, K, are absorbed and stored by fat!

We've all heard the advice '5-a-day' but how many of us actually achieve this? Many of us don't have 5 per week!
There is real value in this advice. Fruit & Vegetables contain vitamins and minerals. Vitamins and minerals are ESSENTIAL to make our bodies work!
For the next 7 days, make a point of having 1 portion (2 palm fulls) of fruit or veg every day.

●Must be committed to keeping an honest food diary
●Must be available for 6 weeks of your normal routine (e.g. no holidays)
●Would like to lose at least 2 stone
●Willing to have your before and after photos/measurements shared on social media

How to avoid that mid day slump.
Breakfast to avoid:
1. White bread
2. Sweet pastries
3. Fruit juice
4. Sugary cereals
These high sugar/low fibre combinations provide a short boost of energy and won't keep you feeling full for long.
Recommended breakfast:
1. Omelette
2. Natural or Greek Yoghurt with fruit
3. Avacado on wholemeal toast
4. Porridge

Avoiding sugar spikes throughout the day will cut down on cravings and keep your energy levels balanced.
