WATCH OUT! This beautiful creature, a young slow worm, less than 15 cm in length seen out & about In Clanfield today. Seemingly he was just sunbathing whilst, remaining pretty much motionless. Looking much like a young but flattened dandelion stem or stick.
Anyway do please leave them alone and keep in mind whilst operating your mower & cutting any long grass.

Those pesky stinging nettles proud, beautiful, tasty and even very good for you in so many ways. But time to pull them up and get rid. Ouch!…and ouch again.
