A thank you to VW Breeze (Dunsbury Park Havant) for allowing me to rejuvenate a wildflower patch, here is some before and after photos.

It is underestimated how important wildflowers gardens are to our environment.

New challenge to uncover an old flint wall which has not seen any daylight in many years due to lots of very stubborn overgrown ivy.

Blooming marvellous at Breeze Motor Group in Havant helping to bring back the bees! Wild flower meadow rejuvenation. After preparation of the ground, a mixture of 41 different native wild flower species which were sowed along with yellow rattle which do a great job weakening and reducing grass thereby giving other wild flowers a chance to compete and gradually establish themselves.

Overtime this wildflower area will be buzzing with Bees.

Oh how I roll! Today's work view. Hard to believe five years ago this week I was made redundant which was a tough time, I stayed positive and started my own business. Now I'm living the dream. I work significantly less hours, love my work and have more valuable time with the family. Keep smiling, because life is a beautiful thing and there's so much to smile about. The most important / best currency in life is time. If that's the case I'm living a very happy life.

Once cleaned I also offer an anti-bacterial disinfectant treatment to inhibit the re-growth of algae and lichen which will keep your driveway or patio cleaner for longer. Typically this protection will be for 6-9 months after the first application, and 8-12 months after subsequent applications.

A trimming job of a very high hedge and magnolia tree and testing out my new tower platform.

Creating borders in my clients garden and I utilised the turf cut offs to create an insect hotel which will encourage different insects that pollinate many of our fruits, flowers and vegetables. Without them, we would not have the produce we enjoy and rely on.

Chainsawing, chopping and stacking. My client will have a nice cosy fireplace in the winter.

Before and after pictures of Top dressing and overseeding of a lawn which won't just improve the look of a lawn, but can also benefit the health of the grass too. It allows to maintain a true and level lawn surface by filling in any imperfections or hollow areas to create a smooth surface. It also helps to dilute thatch layers, assisting in their natural breakdown and preventing them from building up. My new drag matt definitely made the levelling of the topdressing alot easier. The last picture was taken 21 days after the works were carried out.

Patio cleaning job without the use of a pressure washer which can cause damage to the integrity of the paving slabs, surface degradation, marks, pitting, and damage to the joint sand between each paving slab.

I was asked by a client if I could make something to entice bugs into the garden. After finding a few pallets and logs we have a bug hotel. This is a fantastic way to encourage insects into your garden. Attracting beneficial insects such as pollinators will keep your garden thriving with plants and flowers and pest eating bugs like ladybirds will keep nasty aphids from destroying plants.

My new scarifier has been very busy over the last few weeks helping me with my complete lawn care service. 😀

The first stage of this lawn care job was applying a fast acting soluble Iron for the greening, toughening of turf and killing of moss. Followed by applying a selective, systemic herbicide which provides outstanding control on many troublesome broad-leaved w**ds. Kills the w**ds and not the grass.

I hold a PA1and PA6 Licence (Safe use and handling of Pesticides) this is required by law when applying pesticides, herbicides etc.

After leaving the soluble iron to work it's magic for a couple of weeks the lawn was then scarfied (De-thatched).

After scarification, a very high quality fertiliser was applied which comprises of specialised blend of compounds and minerals to help give the lawn all the nutrients it needs during the growing season. Further lawn care will be carried out thought-out the year to keep the lawn looking lush and green.

Establishing of wildflower border. These Beebombs are a mix of 18 British wildflower seeds, perfect for pollinators. In a few months time this wildflower area will be buzzing with Bees.

Red meet blue 😍

Look after the wildlife, make an extra effort to feed the birds, hedgehogs and other living creature throughout the winter. It’s lovely to look outside on a frosty morning watching the birds in the garden.

You can attract more robins and blue t**s to your garden this year by putting out some tasty food for them to eat, try adding apples slices, berries, mealworms and peanuts to your bird feeder and see what wonderful visitors you get. keep each other safe and take care of your garden.

This large Willow Tree had become a bit too large for my client. These branches have been taken back to the original polard cut. They are fast growing and will re-sprout in the spring.

Covid has affected everyone in some shape or form this year. For me personally, gardening has always offered me an escape from all the negativity, and chaos the media and life in general brings. Gardening resets my mind provides me with a healthy workout and free gym session and not only provides me with an income, it gives me a sense of achievement after every job, and gratitude for the life I have. Nature is a natural therapy. Look after your garden and each other. 😎
