How do I get the display to come on , tried the buttons and nothing

This is a breakdown we were called out to today,

The customer called us out due to water dripping from the boiler and onto the ceiling below.
After investigation, we found that the auto air vent and sump seal were leaking, causing water damage to the boiler and ceiling of loft below.

The boiler hadn't been serviced for over 5 years 😬😳 , this is a prime example for not servicing the boiler annually . If the boiler had been serviced regularly, this would have been identified sooner and potentially saved the water damage to the ceiling.

We replaced the leaking AAV , sump seal, and carried out a full service .

Spotted this a few weeks ago while visiting a customer , Captain Pugwash springs to mind 😂

Another call-out from today, the customer called us with water dripping from the boiler.

After taking the case off, we quickly identified that the right hand return assembly was pin holed at the top (the leak wasn't the usual flow turbine adaptor leaking).

So with a quick trip to our favourite plumbers merchant , which had all the parts in stock we stripped out the leaking block and replaced with new and got the customer back up and running.

Job done 👍

A busy day today with boiler breakdowns.

This was a call-out to the boiler tripping the RCD on the consumer unit for the house.

The boiler was displaying overheat faults before tripping the electrics. After a quick diagnosis, we found that the central heating pump was seized and blocked with sludge from the system due to.poor water quality.

We swifty changed the old pump for a nice new pump and got the customer back up and running in no time at all.

Just after Christmas we installed this nice little 4kw logburner , not only does this look great but the dog also loved it 😂, while we were at it we also re-pointed the chimney and fitted another 3 cowls to the disused chimneys to stop damp and nesting birds.

This is an unvented cylinder change we did for a customer last week.

The old cylinder had been leaking around the bottom, but luckily for the customer it was still covered under warranty, so we did a nice little swap like-for-like. 👍

Today we did a major repair on a Worcester greenstar.

The customer called us out with water dripping from the bottom of the boiler, after a closer inspection we found the culprit, the bottom of the heat exchanger was leaking 💧💧💧🙈 .

In no time at all we had the new heat exchanger fitted and carried out a service.

Customer mentioned the boiler had lost a little bit of water pressure , we investigated and found the expansion vessel needed recharging. We also found that the CO alarm is due to expire so we advised that it was replaced.
