Last lesson before we have August off.
Crochet amigurumi gnome this Thursday, 25th July, we have a few spaces left in the evening class 6 - 8pm.
Beginners crochet is 5th September.
Classes are held in Cowplain and are £25 per person with materials supplied.

If you fancy coming for some fabulous quilt inspiration we will have a sales table at this event this weekend.

This afternoon I am picking up stitches. I have to get 174 stitches onto my needle for a little 4ply v neck cardigan. How would you tackle this?? I’m putting them onto 25cm needles because I really don’t enjoy knitting with circular needles!

If anyone wants to make some there is a pattern link in the post. We are happy to collect any and post off on large parcel. If you can make some we will aim to send them at the beginning of August 😊😊

Sending an SOS to all you knitters and crochets out there - we're pretty much out of b***s!

Our knitted breasts are used by our volunteers and staff at our local services to help support families. They are so important to how we work as they make our hands-off approach to support so much easier for parents and supporters.

They can be used:

- To demonstrate positioning and attachment
- To explain how babies latch on
- For mums to show us where they have pain or discomfort
- To show how mums with different breast / ni**le shape and sizes can breastfeed
- To explain how to hand-express
- and so much more!

Can you knit or crochet, or do you know someone who can? We're so grateful for any volunteers willing to make us some b***s!

We can cover expenses for the cost of wool, stuffing, packaging and postage 🧶

We're looking for different shapes, sizes and colours - these can be different skin tones, or any other random colour combination❤️💛💚🩵💙💜

The knitted b***s need to go out in pairs to be able to demonstrate positioning and attachment on different shapes and sizes of breast. These pairs don't have to match.

The current yarn trend appears to be chenille 🧶🧶 We have four different types in stock in a variety of thicknesses. It is fun for crocheting toys and very cosy blankets but you can also knit with it 😀

Wednesday morning working on workshop pieces for September!! We have an idea, it’s a biggish one but we think you’ll enjoy it 😊😊😊

The first batch of little mini kits are ready. They are while stocks last as some elements we cannot get again.
If you have already ordered them, they are to one side for collection.
If you would like some they are £6 a kit or 3 for £15.

So this afternoon on this not so nice summers day I’m having a bit of a sort and tidy of our buttons….we have way too many 😂😂
Anyway it conjured up one of those questions….. if you are making a garment when do you buy your buttons?? Do you buy them when you buy your yarn and pattern or do you buy them when the garment is sewn up??
