Year 5 had a lovely time at the library- thank you Abbots Langley Library

Today we had the privilege of welcoming year 5 from St Catherine of Sienna School who visited the library to discover what we have on offer. The children all drew their favourite book character seen here.

Activities including our Saturday Lego Club 11 - 12 for 5 to 12 year old (to book please call into the library) £3.00 per session. Knit & Natter (1st Tuesday of the month 10.00 - 12.00. Weekly Meet and compete (board games etc) 2.00 - 3.30. Storytime every Tuesday 2.15 - 2.45, Baby Rhyme Time every Friday 10.30 - 11.00 and our new Reading group starting on Thursday 19 January 4.45 - 5.45 (bring along the book you are reading to share with others)
Everyone is welcome at Abbots Langley Library and we have our own small carpark.

Exciting news… we are running a Summer Camp! This is open to all families, not just St Cath’s pupils. Reserve your place quickly, as spaces are allocated on a first come first served basis! 🎉😎🍦

Remember tomorrow we will be supporting this and campaign in solidarity with our Ukrainian brothers and sisters 🇺🇦❤️🙏🏻

Tomorrow, schools can take part in 'A Day for Ukraine' organised by First News in partnership with the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) to raise funds for their appeal.

Pupils are asked to wear blue and yellow and donate £1, if they can. Other activities can be organised, like sponsored walks or bake sales.

Due to staff shortage we have to close our EYFS/Year 1 Bubble today. This is due to staff having to self-isolate, including two of the Bubble being contacted by track and trace late last night and this morning. I am sorry for the inconvenience this will cause.
