Whitby Town Tour Bus is a must it takes you around Whitby. You'll see the whalebone, captain Cook, pannet Park, bridge overlooking the harbour and the Abbey. You can hop on and off as many times as you like in 24 hours.

Walk on the beach and down the piers.And you can watch the sunset from the top of the cliff too on evening that's nice.

There's lots of independent shops mainly on church street which have really nice items. Honeyz (bath products) is a favourite of mine. You'll also have to pop into Fortunes Kippers and Justin's Chocolatier. (All on church street)

Boat trip is a must. If you don't get seasick that is! There's the pirate endeavour one opposite the arcades or there's the yellow boats not far from the swing Bridge! The yellow boats do a sunset evening cruise too on certain dates. If you're lucky enough you might see dolphins in summer! ☀️

Nymr steam train. It goes to and from Pickering. You just catch it from the Whitby Station. It stops off at Goathland too (where Heartbeat was filmed). Pickering is lovely too. Its a little market town.

Walk up the 199 steps to the Abbey and St Mary's Church! There is a cafe up there too with picnic tables outisde! Views are stunning. There's a brewery at the top too for a well deserved pint!!

Pannet Park Museum and Art Gallery. Lovely gardens, play park and museum. Ohh and a little pond!

Food wise. Pizza West, Cosa Nostra and The Edge are good, plus endless fish and chip restaurants! Coffee wise... Full of Beans opposite the band stand near the piers do fab coffees! And they're usually open till about 10pm in summer.

And then there's your typical arcades too
