Whitstable Whistler chatted to Nick Lynds who has taken over the premises very recently.
Nick has over thirty years of experience in the trade and has fulfilled his dream of running his own shop after three years trading from home.

N LYNDS Carpet Fitting is a family business with Nick working alongside his son Lloyd.
There's an excellent choice inside of carpets, vinyls, and vinyl tiles. And with great testimonials, Nick is looking forward to meeting new customers in the Whitstable showroom.

Whitstable Whistler paid a visit to The English Wine Room 🍷 on Oxford Street.
It took some persuasion, obviously! 😉

Specialising in Kentish wines, Susie, (on the right in this photograph,) runs tasting sessions in this stylish venue in Whitstable. It's the perfect opportunity to enjoy delectable sparkling, white and rosè wines whilst learning about the wine makers and their localities.

Susie explained the see-swirl-sniff-sip process of wine tasting. Many vineyards apply the same base methods for wine producing, but, because of scientific variables, for example soil and climate, multiple different flavours are produced.
There are exciting plans for developing a wine society in the near future.

The English Wine Room also hosts workshops. The next event is an artistic dried flower hoop workshop with Helen from BluBelle Creative The workshops are taking place on Friday 31st March & Saturday 1st April with morning, afternoon and evening sessions. Priced at £45 per person including all equipment, materials & refreshments.
