We are seeking a talented and motivated Assistant Practice Manager to help us deliver top quality private primary healthcare to our growing patient list.

The Walcote Practice is a dynamic, multi-award-winning independent Private General Practice in the heart of Wi******er with a focus on excellent, affordable, convenient patient healthcare. We are fully registered with and regulated by the CQC and we take great pride in maintaining first-rate standards.

Our friendly team provides a dedicated healthcare service to the residents of Wi******er and beyond, which patients are able to dovetail with their NHS provision. Our sizeable and loyal patient list continues to grow and we are now seeking an intelligent and supportive Assistant Practice Manager to assist our staff and patients.

This varied role will involve supporting the Practice Manager across a variety of Practice functions, with a focus on implementing and keeping updated all areas of CQC regulatory compliance, in addition to providing administrative assistance in areas such as office administration, some telephone/reception duties, patient liaison and team support. Full training will be provided, however previous experience of CQC compliance and office administration is essential, ideally within a clinical environment at an Assistant Manager level.

The successful candidate will be required from 09:30 to 18:00 Monday to Friday, with flexibility to occasionally provide cover for the Saturday morning receptionist’s annual leave.

You would be working with a loyal, professional, fun and committed team of reception, administration, management and medical staff who are all great believers in work-life balance. Your office would be within a few minutes stroll of the beautiful city centre of Wi******er.

Please note that you are not required to have had prior experience of a working in a private GP setting to apply. If you feel that you would be able to make a committed and positive contribution to our team and patients within this role, we look forward to hearing from you. We are seeking a talented and motivated GP to help our team deliver high quality private primary healthcare to our loyal and growing patient list.

This permanent salaried employed position is initially for:

five to six weekday sessions (days by agreement)

one Saturday morning session per month

provision of some leave cover may be required when other practice GPs are on leave

The salary for this role equates to £13,000 per weekly four-hour session per year. There is potential for regular weekday shifts to increase in the future as the business grows.
