We were devastated to hear the sad news that one of our team passed away last week. Many of you will have met Joel, if you didn’t have the pleasure of speaking to him personally, you will have undoubtably seen one of his legendary screen intros. He was a keen projectionist, live show expert, entertainer and friend to us all. Joel will be deeply missed by all the team here at The Light, he was, and will continue to be remembered as, a core member and supporter within our team. His kindness did not stop at work, he extended his friendship and support to so many outside of the cinema. This was appreciated more than we can express.
We as a team kindly ask for your kindness during this difficult time. We wish to extend our support to his partner, Caroline, as well as Joel’s family and friends.

Joel you will be truly missed.
