Roehampton Gate School recently had new photos taken to showcase their fantastic facilities.

With bright and spacious classrooms, calming therapy rooms and outdoor exercise and play equipment, the school boasts a wide range of facilities purpose-built to meet the needs of their students.

In celebration of the recent Armed Forces Day on 29 June, our Aspris Allies community told us about their experiences within the Armed Forces. 🇬🇧

Ruth, Lucy and Kylie are three colleagues who are part of Cadet Forces and Reserves, and are supported in their dedication to the forces. Through their experiences, they're able to apply new skills to their roles within Aspris.

Throughout the inspection report, 𝗢𝗳𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹. This included:

💬 "Staff ensure pupils here re-engage with education successfully. Their attendance quickly improves. Parents and carers praise the support pupils receive."

💬 "Pupils benefit from the school’s high expectations. They learn what they need to be ready for their next stage. As a result, they progress successfully to college or training."

We are so proud of our North Hill House School under-16s football team who recently won the Somerset Schools Inclusive League for the second year running! 🏆

Building on the success of their brilliant first year of football, and with a brand new team, the school has continued to give these young people the opportunity to play football in the community. ⚽

North Hill House School’s P.E Teacher Leroy Green, who has worked at the school for 14 years, said:

“I am extremely proud of all our students who have represented the school in football fixtures this year. Some of these students have a background of being expelled from schools and not given the opportunity to thrive in the right environment for them. Now we have these students representing the school – and some have gained the confidence and social learning to play for football teams in their communities.” 💬

Congratulations to our wonderful team at Quay View School in Bere Alston, Devon, for being recently rated as '𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱' overall and '𝗢𝘂𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴' in the assessment category ‘Personal development’ by Ofsted.

Throughout the inspection report, 𝗢𝗳𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹. This included:

💬 ‘This school helps raise pupils’ aspirations.’

💬 ‘Actions taken by the school to support pupils’ social, emotional and mental health development are exemplary.’

💬 ‘Pupils at this school become safe, well-informed and responsible British citizens.’

The report continued: ‘Parents, carers and pupils recognise the school as a happy place where pupils’ needs are understood. Pupils attend school regularly. The school is ambitious for its pupils and committed to ensuring pupils are well-prepared for the next stage of their education or employment.’

Ofsted also further praised the school’s personal development offer as sitting ‘at the heart of the school’s curriculum’ and how it ‘builds pupils’ independence and prepares them for adulthood exceptionally well.’

To mark the recent World Autism Acceptance Week, fundraising events and activities took place across Aspris. This included our finance team baking cakes! 🍰

From delicious brownies to cakes and sweet treats, the finance team raised a fantastic £214 for the National Autistic Society – well done everyone 👏

Tor View School recently received their well deserved school plaque for being a Trauma Informed School.
